Well with the signing of Altidore I expect your numbers to grow soon on the boards in terms of Sunderland supporters, I know I will personally be keeping tabs on them and hoping they do well this season.

Re: The 2013-14 Sunderland AFC thread
It was good to finally get a chance to see the new players in this Hong Kong trophy thing against spurs.
Conditions were atrocious with rain and the pitch being water logged. But I was quite impressed with what I saw so far.
Jozy had a few good chances, probably should of scored a couple tbh. Him and Cabral are absolute tanks.
The team looks much fitter. I was quite impressed with Cabral and Giac. This Swedish kid Karlsson did well also.
Wed Brown even did well after coming back from such a lengthy period out injured.

Re: The 2013-14 Sunderland AFC thread
When they open things up Sunderland look quite good, but they need to tidy things up in the back. Unfortunately, Di Canio is a bit schizophrenic with his tactics.
Either way, unfortunate not to at least get a point today.

Re: The 2013-14 Sunderland AFC thread
Sunderland are just laughable at this point.
Poyet is a good hire and I hope that next week Sunderland show a lot of improvement. However, I think the final 8 minutes pretty much sums up what's wrong with Sunderland. Altidore comes on the pitch has an instant impact linking up play and holding up the ball, and no one makes a run behind for a laid off header into the box. An easy goal had anyone been within 20 yards of Altidore, but everyone was walking in the midfield. Just a lazy ass team...
