Butthurt much ?
Just a prediction buddy..Bayern are superior to Arsenal in every department in my opinion.
Just like they were against Chelsea at home? Bayern have been the biggest chokers in CL in the past few years.
And Arsenal were dominating the CL in the past years?

Second place is the first loser.

Re: Arsenal Vs Bayern Munich
There is no denying Bayern are much better team than us, looking forward it with no fear.
We do joke around come game day, I know my team will show up.
If we lost to bradford, bayern can loose to arsenal.
3-1 to BATE.

Re: Arsenal Vs Bayern Munich
If we are on our game we can beat any team. Bayern aren't unbeatable. Tough draw but!! Not the toughest Arsenal could have gotten. All the pressure will be on Bayern imo.
Just happy we dont have to play Messi again.

and no, i don't think Heynckes will play a DM as a CB (like Tymo,Martinez,or Gustavo) when Dante + vBuyten are fit.
That's interesting. Dante is excellent but I think van Buyten can be a liability sometimes and clearly the weak link. Both can score goals though

Re: Arsenal Vs Bayern Munich
People seem to forget the fact that Ribery can be absolutly silenced if there is an actually good RB. Take a look at France v Italy, Maggio pocketed Ribery, and im sure Sagna can do the same. Im not dissing Ribery, he's an amazing player and everything, but its just that overconfidence leads to arrogance, that 7 goal conceded means shit all once your thrust into the lights of the CL. Just look at Milan 2010 season i believe we conceded 7 goals also and got ousted by Tottenham... Again im not trying to intimidate Bayern fans, its just that...well...always expect the unexpected. If Schalke can destroy a treble winning Inter then why not Arsenal?

How is Arsenals's defence conerning corners/flanks and headers? Because with Dante/vBuyten/Martinez/Gomez(Mandzukic) there will be a lot of dangerous header-situations i guess.

Re: Arsenal Vs Bayern Munich
Last time I checked, Javi Martínez played as CB at Bilbao all the time (and pretty good even), so it is not that he is a newbie on that position.BAYERN_MUNICH wrote:and no, i don't think Heynckes will play a DM as a CB (like Tymo,Martinez,or Gustavo) when Dante + vBuyten are fit.

Wilshere gave motm performance against Xavi n co. And no one is better than him. More worried about their wingers than Kroos

I think it will be a great matchup..but I don't particularly enjoy Kroos. He's a very distributive 10 and he's certainly not going to be playing further back against Arsenal.
Arsenal won't mind letting them have the degree of control they like to have over games.
They'll play on the break and Wilshere (should he be fit and ready) will win that battle.
I hope Wenger buys another midfielder though, I think they'll need someone to slow the movement of ball through midfield , while at the same time provide some auxillary assistance for the fullbacks.
Wilshere will be that on one end but I think they need someone on Ribery's end.

Cazorla won't show up. Podolski and Wilshere will be up for this one though.

I still maintain that Podolski is gonna make it hard for Bayern, he managed so even with lowly Köln...

Major concerns are Ribery and Kroos, if Sagna and Arteta are on top of their game we'll have a good chance to beat Bayern.
Plus Diaby should be back by then, Arsenal to go through
lol if I had a £ for every time I heard that I'd be a stinking rich man
however very difficult tie, personally I don't expect us to make it through but win or lose I'll be supporting those Gooners

You are comparing Bayern matching up against a 'lowly' Bundesliga team to Bayern facing off against a Champions League side and at the knockout stages.
Different scenario altogether..Mentality of the players ,focus ,tactics everything is going to be different since its an important knockout game and this is the Champions league we're talking about.
Ofcourse Podolski has caused problems for Bayern in the past but lets not make it sound like something Bayern would find difficult to deal with.
