I'm a licensed Gooner hater and I drink Arsenal haterade everyday.
As a Barca fan who never liked Arsenal in the first place, and a Spurs fan... you probably can imagine why.

this could get ugly, but it's the only glimmer of hope left in another horrible season. this could either work in our favor, or backfire horribly

Walcott is our Major threat there is not doubt about that. I am worried about Van Buyten, I hope he is able to cope with Arsenal pace. it's going to be a tough match, 2 evenly match teams going head to head.
I can't predict this one, a very tough match for us.

Nothing will make me happier than seeing Podolski score a last minute volley against Bayern to round up his hat trick. After all that has been done and said between the two parties Podolski is due some retribution and vindication.
If that happens it'll be one of the greatest Champions League moments I would have witnessed.

Due to the underdogism of Arsenal and I have some sympathy towards them, l I'm supporting Arsenalfor this tie.
Also, I would love some mouth shutting for the Bundeslegacy.
I'd love to watch this match but unfortunately I'll be training. Wish I get some very minor injury before this evening...

Slight differences.... Luiz is actually a CB and is good when he wants to be.
Also Arsenal won't get as lucky as Chelsea did and they also won't stick 11 men behind the ball for 90 mins or are capable of playing ultra defensively.

I think he'd be great in a team that played to his strengths as a defender. He's hot and cold as the lovely Katy Perry would put it but he has all the skill sets that a great defender needs.
I've seen him play enough great games to think he can be one of the best one day.

Re: Arsenal Vs Bayern Munich
Arsenal did what Chelsea did in 2006 with this defence: Eboue, Toure, Senderos, Flamini, which in paper was a shite defence but Wenger played smartly then, and went to the final without conceding a goal in knockout stages against the likes of Juventus, Real Madrid and Villarreal.
It's only a matter of how Wenger will tell the players to approach the game, because individually it's not a bad defence (apart from Vermaelen), if he tells them "to play like we always do" we'll lose, but if he tells them to sit back and counter we might get something, because Arsenal attacking players are far far faster than Bayern's defensive players and Schweini/Javi.

His strengths mostly spurs from his above average technical abilities yet all too many times he has shown the lack of footballing IQ, reading of the game and simple defending 101 (positioning, zoning etc) to have the traits of a great defender in which cannot be taught as such an age. Ball playing CBs also need to know how to defend, maybe Luiz should watch guys like Hummels, Bonnuci, Cheillini, Agger, and learn how to combine his abilities with defence.
And who is Katy Perry?

I get what you're saying and it;s not that I disagree but Luiz has done enough for me to at least respect him as a player. You can't deny he hasn't had his moments. Meanwhile guys like Hummels have yet to really do that imo. Just my opinion on the matter regarding whether or not Luiz would be a better CB than Sagna
Oh and

Re: Arsenal Vs Bayern Munich
I think Arsenal know they are technically outmatched, and i think because of that, it will come down to who scores first. Either way i see Bayern winning, but if Arsenal score first it could be close, as they could park it. If Bayern score first though then Arsenal will need to venture out alot and try to attack, and then Bayern could embarass them.
