Re: The Official Arsenal Winter Transfers/Rumours Thread
Bit controversial to welcome back Nasri. If he apologized. Like a real deep ass-kissing apology and took a wage cut then I for one would let him work his way back into my heart. I don't see him actually taking that big of a wage cut unless he really sat down and said "hey, I could have been a world class footballer under Wenger and not just a c*nt. Well I could have been a c*nt too but I would have been playing consistent quality football and contributing to building a team instead of abandoning ship. Also, I'm a c*nt."

Re: The Official Arsenal Winter Transfers/Rumours Thread
I honestly thought our attack would be OK this year. But apparently I was wrong.
My Shopping List lol
1)Since Walcott's pretty much gone anyway sell im now and get a worthy replacement possibly Zaha and let him and the OX battle it out. There is also a possibility of moving Cazorla there as well like he was in Malaga.
2) A proper DM or B2B. Someone like Capoue or Diame and maybe even Cabaye/Strootman. He can play alongside Wilshere and Arteta as there is a free space due to Santi Moving wide. But the player I would love to see in Arsenal Colours has got to be Lewis Holtby.
3)A striker that has a high conversion rate so someone like Huntleaar would be perfect.
4) a 5 Year old french kid and some unknown 20 year old that will turn put tp be the next Henry

Re: The Official Arsenal Winter Transfers/Rumours Thread
This is how January tranfer will turn out.
Arshavin out.
Chamakh out
Santos out
Walcott out
Sagna out
Wenegr will not replace Sagna and Walcott he will move Djourou to LB.
Ramsey is Walcotts replacement, Wenger will prove us all wrong, like he always has.
Wenger has 40m this January and he has already spent 20m on Jack and another 10 on Ramsey.
We have 10m left and Zaha could be our only signing.
Whats the worst could happen to Wneger? if we dont make Cl he will leave. Not making CL is the same as getting relegated and this is not first time Wenger will leave his team when they get relegated.

I would swap Theo for Nasri any day if City willing to make the trade.
Walcott should look around and see if he leaves us, he will warm the bench for years to come.

Re: The Official Arsenal Winter Transfers/Rumours Thread
Was just watching Adrian Lopez's 19 goals of last season on youtube - http://bit.ly/PPjmlf - he seems like exactly what we could do with. A mobile, versatile forward.
My only concern is £14.5m release clause which is a little bit high, but he's only 24 and is Spanish international.
On the bench these season for Atletico as he has refused to sign a new contract. His current deal (which expires in 2015) has the aforementioned release clause which is why club want him to sign a new deal with higher release clause.

Demba Ba on Canal Plus : "Arsenal are one of these teams who make you dream"
"Press know Arsenal needs another striker. And also know about my release clause. And make they own mind about it"
"I have nothing to say about those speculations. Nothing is about to happened"

Seems like it is time for you to change that signature.
As for Ba, it's the same as Giroud/Huntelaar. None of them are going to dribble past players and score, no use getting these guys if we can't service them properly.
Adrian on the other hand seems good, but not completely sold on him.

Bendtner's agent confirms striker will NOT be returning to Arsenal in January despite 3-month injury - http://bit.ly/UD4Yxs - via @LadyArse
Re: The Official Arsenal Winter Transfers/Rumours Thread
KIP @Established1886
Theo Walcott has agreed terms with Chelsea via @gunnerpunner
Whats else is new. We are a selling club, in 3 years we sold our entire first team and some of the bench.
-----------------------------
According to strong rumours doing the rounds in the press, Chelsea are very keen to bring Theo Walcott to Stamford Bridge.
In fact the rumours goes on to infer that Chelsea are looking to bring Walcott to West London as early as January and would be prepared to pay £15 million for the player rather than wait until he is out of contract this summer.
Seemingly, Walcott could be swayed to come to Chelsea by two points, the first being that he wouldn`t have to move out of London and the second being that Chelsea have, supposedly, declared that he can play more d

I know for a fact that he has had some dialogue with Chelsea in the Summer.

Wilshere £85k a week, Ramsey £60k a week, Chamberlain & Gibbs on £52k a week deals, while Jenkinson on £25k a week.
I guess Arsenal dont value Walcott.

Arsenal considering Eriksen as Walcott replacement according to breaking rumours. £16m fee.
Re: The Official Arsenal Winter Transfers/Rumours Thread

He is too loyal to Ajax and i dont see him leaving in January but it is football and anything can happen. I hope he does come to Arsenal this january as he is great talent and still 20-years old.Samuelj29060 wrote:Arsenal considering Eriksen as Walcott replacement according to breaking rumours. £16m fee.

If we get 15m for Theo, no way the board would spend any of that money for better replacement when we have Ramsey.

This would be awesome, and anything like £16m would be cheap in this market. (Maybe sign up Viktor Fischer for a cool £5m too...? That would be a pair of young-ish player signings I'd really get behind!) But I can't see it happening at all, plus it's weird to think that he'd be a "replacement" for Walcott ... very different kind of player.

Confirmation it's NOT a trial - but to discuss wages.
