Maybe Song and Cesc want their old room mate back?

RedOranje wrote: He's about on Sterling's level, I would say. He would probably have made the breakthrough into the first team this season had he stayed at Anfield rather than turning down the contract offer and moving to the Championship. They'll likely be on about the same wages as well (assuming Sterling signs a new deal with LFC).
He seems he's grown a lot judging from looking at stats. I havn't watched Ince play since he's left us but I do feel the move has made him a greater player. He wasn't really rated as highly as the likes of Suso and Sterling when he was with us and for us (and United being interested beforehand) to want to bring him back shows that he's definitely improved.
I'm jumping back on the bandwagon.

Re: January Transfer Rumours
So basically it's £16m (£6m for Ince + £10m for Sturridge) if I am understanding this correctly. The other £2m is just part of the sell-on clause like RedO pointed out that stays in our pockets.
Really not a fun of either of them but if they join us, all I can do is jump on their bandwagons

Mertens is better and we'd get him for cheaper. Not sure why we want Sturridge.

Rather different players, to be honest.

Re: January Transfer Rumours
Rodgers for some reason is in love with Sturridge, so who knows what he has in store for him.
I really wanted Walcott over Sturridge
And now it means less chance of us signing either Rossi or JoJo in the summer

Re: January Transfer Rumours
Walcott obviously isn't seen as a viable option if we're already working on the other two deals. Wenger's being rather stubborn, it sounds as though me may end up signing for Arsenal, and even if he doesn't we'd be competing with the likes of Chelsea and both/either Manchester clubs. Realistically there's only so far a boyhood fanship (if it's not a word it should be) will carry someone, and I'm not sure it's enough to give us weight over CL footy and competing (almost) immediately for PL titles.

Re: January Transfer Rumours
Milan wipe Pato off website
Alexandre Pato’s future at Milan is more in the balance than ever, as he has mysteriously vanished from the club’s merchandising website.
The striker had been on the banner representing the e-store, but has now been replaced by Kevin-Prince Boateng, Massimo Ambrosini and Stephan El Shaarawy.
A similar vanishing act occurred just before Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva were sold to Paris Saint-Germain this summer.
It has been said that Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani is flying out for talks with Corinthians over a €15m offer for Pato.

Re: January Transfer Rumours
Alexander Merkel has agreed to leave Genoa for Udinese in January, reports the Gazzetta dello Sport.
The German youngster will move to the Stadio Friuli in a co-ownership deal as part of the agreement that will see Antonio Floro Flores return to Marassi next month.
Genoa’s Ghanaian defender Masahudu Alhassan, currently on loan at Novara, will also move to Udine after Christmas.
Merkel, 20, returned to Genoa in the summer after a spell at Milan, but he has only made six Serie A appearances so far this season.

Well you want sturridge because Luis Suarez aside your best striker is Borini.

Surely sturridge is better than Borini ffs.

Why the hate for Borini? Hell, why drop by another club's section just to criticise a player?

This is general section

I don't hate Borini, just that during summer some liverpool fans were going crazy for Borini's signing and after watching many Roma games last season I can find nothing extraordinary in him. He is a very average player.

Guardiola still keen on Bayern
The Spaniard's brother Pere met Bayern agent Branchini to talk about Pep's interest in taking over at the club, with the former Barcelona boss apparently willing to begin German lessons should the Bavarians be keen on his arrival.

AC Milan are set to demand Corinthians midfielder Paulinho as part of any deal for striker Alexandre Pato according to reports in Italy.
Football Italia claims the Rossoneri hope to coax Corinthians into releasing the highly rated player as part of a possible €15m deal which would see troubled striker Pato head the other way.

Indeed they do: http://www.derwesten.de/sport/fussball/s04/torjaeger-klaas-jan-huntelaar-bleibt-auf-schalke-id7409162.htmlYohan Modric wrote:Huntelaar:

They also say Holtby's decision is close, too.
BTW, WAZ/NRZ (derwesten.de) are a pretty respectably source.
