The agent of Napoli striker Edinson Cavani has revealed the interest of Chelsea and Manchester City.

Mino Raiola can see Cavani moving in June.

"For now Cavani will stay, but I wouldn't be so sure about that once June arrives," Raiola told Il Mattino.

"I'm sure there are clubs ready to pay that. But only five clubs in the world can afford to do that - Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Chelsea and Paris Saint Germain.

"You are intelligent enough on your own to understand where Cavani will play his football next season."

Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski has cooled talk of an agreement with Manchester United.

Lewandowski has reportedly agreed to join United in the summer.

But he tweeted before Christmas: "I know nothing about today's news, it's just speculation. I'm at home and resting."

PSG are joining the interest for Newcastle United striker Demba Ba.

Ba's agents have already priced him out of a move to Chelsea, but he remains keen to leave Newcastle this month.

The striker last week declared an ambition to play for boyhood idols PSG and Le Parisien says he's now under consideration at the French big spenders.

PSG chiefs see Ba as an ideal backup for No1 centre-forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Hoarau is gone to China. PSG may enter the Ba sweepstakes if Gameiro really wants to leave... but Ba would be on the bench 80% of the time. It doesn't make much sense to me.

Hannover president Martin Kind has revealed that negotiations have begun to sign Arsenal defender Johan Djourou in the January transfer window.

The Bundesliga club conceded 31 goals in an exhausting first half of the season and are looking to add more depth to their squad as they attempt to secure a return to Europe for the third year in a row.
"I can confirm the name [of Djourou]," Kind told Bild. "He is on our list. There have been talks."

Well, sometimes players work in one team but not in another, so one can never know. Djourou is still a starter for the Swiss NT, for example, and they are normally mostly okay in defense.

Agent slams Cavani claims

Edinson Cavani’s agent has hit back at suggestions the striker will leave Napoli next season. “I didn’t know Mino Raiola was a wizard...”

The story hit the headlines today when Raiola – an agent who does not represent the Uruguayan – told Il Mattino newspaper that the €63m buy-out clause would be activated.

“For now Cavani will stay, but I wouldn’t be so sure about that once June arrives,” Raiola commented.

“I’m sure there are clubs ready to pay that. But only five clubs in the world can afford to do that – Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Chelsea and Paris Saint Germain.

Now the agent who does represent Cavani has hit back at Raiola’s assertion.

“I thought Raiola was an agent. Reading what he said about Cavani, it seems he is also a wizard,” Claudio Anellucci told Radio Radio this evening.

“I am not accustomed to predicting the future of my clients, let alone anyone else’s players.”

And yes, Ba has that knee problem but he hasn't had a problem with the knee since he joined Newcastle.
