Am sure theres gonna be some usual trolls on deadline day, Azpil > Debooosheeee though Twisted Evil.

I really do think Ba will get injured with us, although saying that Torres had some injuries at Liverpool but hasnt had any with us mind you I would trade some time on the medical bed, for his old ability back. :fishing:

Well, sounds like he really wants to move to the PL then, as there the wages are pretty much beyond good and evil even for average players. ^^

Hope he doesn't follow the Kagawa route, he should find a club that suits his needs

Different news outlets reporting that the Ba deal to Chelsea is off but the Telegraph are reporting that the deal is STILL imminent despite unsuccessful talks yesterday.

@PeteGravesSky #cfc will have discovered what many knew already. The 7.5m buyout clause is merely the tip of the iceBArg. #nufc

@CaulkinTheTimes: Ba isn't bargain he appears: £7.5m fee + agent fees + 80k weekly + 4yr deal (what he has asked from #Nufc) & unlikely to pass medical.

Pete Graves @PeteGravesSky
Ba's demands have put off Chelsea, one of the richest clubs in the world. Says it all really. #cfc #nufc

You have to go some to put Chelsea off Laughing what a greedy twat.

Anyway i hope we can just move him on now it's just turned into a circus and it isn't helping anyone....

LOL Jesus although I did hear that Ba himself gets 2mil from the transfer fee and that the agent wants like 2.5-5mil on top of that. Football agents lol must be the easiest job in terms of money and effort ratios.

According to Bild, Schalke04 can lost another player after Lewis Holtby. The captain of the club Benedikt Howedes (24) is so appreciated by Bayern Munich, which are trying to persuade him not to extend his deal with the Gelsenkirchen's club, expiring deal in June 2014.

-------------

Arsenal have tabled a bid for Atletico Madrid striker Adrian Lopez, Goal.com can reveal.
The Londoners have submitted a formal offer of around £10 million, which is lower than the £14.7m release clause in the forward’s contract.
Goal.com understands that Arsenal opened talks with Atletico to sign the 24-year-old Spain international before Christmas and have now made their move in an attempt to capture the player in the January window.

Discuss AS Roma ‏@DiscussASRoma
Stekelenburg's agent, Rob Jansen, has stated that Stekelenburg won't tolerate being second choice at Roma, and if so happen, he will leave.

As long as we get 8m or more for him, it'll be good business.

Lazio are reportedly looking to move for Chelsea’s Frank Lampard.

The 34-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and could leave Stamford Bridge.

According to La Repubblica, the Biancocelesti are hoping to strengthen their squad with the midfielder and have offered €2.5 million a season to Lampard.

He has however been linked with moves to the more lucrative MLS and China, though AC Milan are also thought to be monitoring the situation.

Leonardo states that players are leaving this winter and replacements will be brought as a result.

Lugano, Nene, Tiene and possibly Sissoko are gone. Isimat-Mirin, Moussa Sissoko, Coentrao and Lucas is already here... those are a the name heavily rumored. Coentrao will be the hardest since Marcelo is still injured... granted, it's not like Coentrao has been there while Marcelo is gone lol.

Sunderland are apparently looking to bring Inter’s Joel Obi to the Premier League in January.

The 21-year-old has struggled to make an impact with the Nerazzurri this season, mainly due to injury problems.

According to Calcio News, Martin O’Neill is looking to bid €5 million for the midfielder.

Obi broke into the Inter first team last season, making 27 Serie A appearances.

----------

Everton are reportedly in the hunt for Cagliari defender Davide Astori.

The 25-year-old is one of the Rossoblu’s prized assets and with their recently revealed financial difficulties he could be sacrificed in January.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the Blues are looking to bring in a defender and may be willing to meet the €10 million asking price.

However, they are likely to face competition from Southampton, Juventus and Napoli, who have all expressed an interest in Astori.

-----------------------

Searching for a striker in January, Chelsea are tracking again Mario Gomez (27). According to German media, Blues wanted to sign the striker 2 years ago, but wasn't enough the offer about 40 million euros to sign him from Bayer Munich.

this is already a quasi done deal for PSG. Purchase and leaving him on loan until the summer. He's a 21 year old who was on the U23 France NT team. I would say he's the 3rd best CB prospect U21 behind Varane and Mangala... excellent talent. He has started every game in Ligue 1 for Valenciennes going on 2 years now.

L'Equipe is reporting that the deal with PSG is very close.

Would be amazing as most of our problems are because of our centre backs.

If Cagliari are really willing to sell then I expect us to snatch him.Juve are currently looking for a striker at the moment and while they do need a backup at centre-back I dont think Astori would like sitting on the bench.

If Napoli do not go for him then I expect us to snatch him and I'd be delighted if we do.

Fiorentina management are still willing to sign Italian international striker Pablo Daniel Osvaldo (26), who's been already playing for Viola in 2007/08 and 2008/09. The player, tracked by Juventus as well, is currently on a deal with AS Roma until June 2016, and 15 million euros would be the sum needed for starting a negotiation.

Debuchy is the top target... i actually think Simpson is worse than Wlliamson lol. Moving Cisse out of the RW spot is key #2. Then a CB. Frankly, all 3 of these are absolute musts lol.

I've watched enough of Newcastle to feel comfortable with the attack and the midfield. Plenty of talent in both those places. But the defense is absolutely atrocious. Even if Newcastle sign Debuchy and a CB, they should still look for backup players too. There is no depth whatsoever.
