Martinez over Busquets?

Busquets is at the moment superior yet the difference doesn't have the gap as many make it out to be. For me Javi is a better passer and can influence the midfield better with his all round ability and dictation. The fact is that they are too different players with different roles so a comparison is not to valid.

Neustadter was a great capture for Schalke but you should watch Martinez his passing with the rest of the the team is fluid and hell, his first touch in a Bayern trikot was an inch perfect fourty meter diagonal which Müller misscontrolled. He's friends with Gustavo as well as learning German pretty quickly with a significant number in the squad speaking Spanish (Heynckes and Robben of course Gustavo and Gomez apparently as well with Schweinsteigwr learning) so.communication is no problem.

Busquets' main asset isnt smooth passing or physicality, its tactical awareness.

VDB, Pep all said, if they were a player now, they would like to be busquets.

Busquets is a footballers' footballer, people who have never played the sport will find it hard to appreciate his skill.

Busquets >> martinez in everything except physicality as a DM. In other things such as attacking, its irrelevant bcz its not their job, live that to iniesta and co.

There is a reason he benched Yaya you know. Yaya has many other good skills but he just didnt do the job as good as busquets.

Spain has and will always be influenced by how barca play because of the barca players in it and unless they radically change tactics, martinez has no chance against busquets.


Contrary to many beliefs, busquets will fit well into most top sides. The kid is weak, but my God, he makes up for it with a magnificent footballing brain!!!!!
