How highly do you rank...Season 2

I wonder if one shouldn't put Dortmund on one level with Real when judging on current form. They are both third in their leagues and Dortmund actually was better than Real in the CL.

(Note: I don't look at how good the players are supposed to be on paper or who is more famous, but I judge from what they actually did in the matches.)

From my perspective i didnt put Dortmund on the same level as Madrid cuz even though both teams' league performances have been on par i believe they lose out on the inexperience factor as far as the CL competition is concerned..I mean this is like their first 'real' season in the CL.Madrid on the other hand have been semi-finalists for two years in a row now clearly have all the capabilities to go one better not saying Dortmund cant but for me they have lot more to prove in Europe if they are to be placed in the same tier as the likes of Barca and Madrid and just outplaying the likes of Madrid in the Group Stages wont suffice.They need to go far in the competition to make a point.

This season CL will prove what CL proves every season: German teams suck balls except Bayern. If Bayern sucks ball, no german team does anything of merit.

anyway that was 3 months back, right now id probably put them over both of them since juve managed to qualify unlike chelsea and milan isnt doing great domestically

My only debatable choice in my opinion is Arsenal being higher than the likes of Shakthar and Atletico otherwise i have no doubt over my choices.

Chelsea are still better for me but its marginal.Hypothetically if Chelsea meet Shakthar or Atletico in a 2 legged tie i fancy them to beat them boith.

Also unless Man United dont get their midfield sorted out they are still below Bayern and Madrid for me.Besides the last 'tough' opponent they faced in the CL was Barcelona in the final..I'd like to see how they'd fare against teams with top quality midfields but until then Tier 2 suits them fine right now imo.

Fair enough but Atletico already beat this Chelsea 4-0 this season so I find that somewhat hard to believe.

Shakthar to me is better than Chelsea too but fair enough.

Man Utd midfield? The have the same midfield which got to two CL finals...I dont get why its important. Man Utd at least got to the final, what have Madrid done?

Not saying they are better than Madrid, but I am not sure who would win so I wouldnt know how to seperate them.

Not sure why that 2 CL finals argument is brought up here.One was almost 5 years ago and the other final they reached recently they had opponents such as Marseille,Chelsea and Schalke en route to their passage to the final ,hardly intimidating opponents in my opinion.

And i dont buy that 'they dint take EL seriously' excuse.They got battered courtesy of Bilbao's quality midfield both home and away.

Not only their midfield but their defense also looks weaker from say 2 years ago when they reached the final.

Lets talk about the present now anyway,so far they've only faced scrubs in their group and let United come up against a worthy opponent such as Madrid or Bayern and then we'll see but until then i refuse to rate them above or on par with Bayern and Madrid.
