It's not even about me liking Suarez, honestly.

I'm sick of players just staying at Liverpool to pick up their wages.

There's hardly no passion in the way our players go about it. It's all fine and great in training photos / at Anfield, but no one wants to play away from home. I'm not sure if they're instructed to play stupid, or if they're not in for the cause but it's worrying.

It's actually GOOD LUCK that Real Madrid won't buy him for his "image".

I can't see Liverpool replacing him at all. Not when we spend 40-50m on "squad" players that don't get any games.

Our transfer record in the last 5-6 years have been HORRIBLE, majority of Rodgers' transfers included in that. We won't get someone as good to improve the starting XI regardless if we sell him for any fee.

BR get ready with the bumpy road only otherwise BR comes out with some genuine quality in the tranfer window and pulls out something with good coaching

By the way, at the start of the West Ham game, the Finnish commentator mentioned some rumour of LFC planning to make Suarez the best paid player in the Premiership, but I guess there's nothing concrete on that?

Ohh well rumors currently are of a 200k/week deal with a 100m pounds buyout clause! Don't know if those are true!

Even £70 million will mean only 5-6 clubs have the guts to bid and half of them wouldn't need him.

200k/week!!! Is that £!!! That would be a bit insane (even in €), right!!!

He deserves it really. One of the best players in the world. If we want to keep him, we should show that we mean business by paying up for his performance levels.

Give him the 200k, and insert a 100m clause, I'm fine with that, his worth every cent.

There should be no clause in his contract.

If it's Suarez demands, put one stupid for like 200m+ like Real Madrid and Barcelona do when they don't want to get rid of a player.* We won't become a better team with that 100m.

*It's mandatory in the BBVA to put a buy out clause.

As Nish mentioned in the general section. Suarez has been awarded the goal against West Ham and not O'Brien. So He has 15 goals.

Suarez: 15 goals in 10 games -> 1.5 goals per game
Manchester United: 22 goals in 15 games -> 1.47 goals per game.

To put Suarez's form in perspective, he's currently scoring 1.55 goals per game. Messi's best season he had 1.22, Cristiano = 1.09 gpg. #LFC

Suarez:
“But when the ball in the draw said we would face England it was unbelievable! I sent Stevie a text. Stevie sent a [jokey] message back to me saying ‘England are so lucky!’. We were laughing because it’s so funny. But it will be very, very difficult. Italy, Uruguay, England all have good players. So do Costa Rica.’’

Gerrard's text. XD

If the team step up, and don't fall out of the top 4, it won't be another quote.

He deserves CL, I don't understand the hate. He's been with us for 3-4 seasons now, and we've finally just now showed improvements. (And we could of been a lot better if we didn't play like shit in away games and Rodgers didn't experiment...)

Ian Ayre in Barcelona to talk to Pere Guardiola (Suarez agent, the *bleep*) about a new deal.

Ayre flew to Barcelona on Tuesday for a meeting scheduled with Suárez’s agent Pere Guardiola, the first significant move in trying to tie the 26-year-old to an improved long-term deal thought to be worth more than £130,000 a week. Suárez’s current contract expires in the summer of 2016 and Liverpool know they face a battle to retain the Uruguayan given his extraordinary form.

Almost everybody from the past summer.

I mean, Gerrard from all people said he'd understand if he left to a Madrid. Everybody here knew that he wasn't going to go Arsenal and were still calling him a c*nt etc and didn't want him near the team. Granted he apologised, and won the fans back, and there's not much "hate" now, but I'm talking about if he does leave in the summer if we fail to get a top 4 spot.

What he says now has nothing to do what happens at the end of the season. It's all PR crap. Every footballer does it. No point hanging on to words from what he says now is all I mean.

Keep in mind, more and more rumours are going to come out of the winter, more and more speculation will be on Suarez this January.

If Suarez leaves or ever left, thank you god bye and good luck, he did what was in his best interest and that's what we expect of him and theirs no hate there.

He deserves trophy's, his on of the best in the world.

But how he conducted himself in the summer is not the way to go about it, that's what upset everyone, it had classless written all over it.

We have no idea what happened behind the scenes in the summer though.

He claims he was told he was promised to a move if we didn't make CL. Obviously the club didn't want to offer him out, so tried to engineer a move on his own. Stupid move, but all in the past now.

He's scored 27 goals from 113 shots in 2013 which results in a 24% conversation rate. If we take the "off target" shots, and just look at goals that are directed towards the goal (aka on target), his conversation rate is 38%!

Go back to his time under Dalglish and I think it was somewhere around 10%!
