According to SkySports24 Cavani is very close to agreeing a contract extension with Napoli with wages of around €4.5-5m per season and a buyout clause in the excess of €50m.

Thats still a lot of money Mole.

He dint want to sell Modric within the league,so he sold him for a lesser amount abroad which seems fair and its not a drastic difference from his valuation of Modric a year ago.

Yeah but 42 million euros sounds better.

And Tottenham were never getting £40m pounds. Still, £33.2m- I think this is about as good a deal as Tottenham were gonna get, and it's not deadline day so there is a good amount of time for this money to be used on a replacement for the upcoming season.

He explained that the transfer of Cesc closed at 29 million Euros, half to be paid now and the rest in September. His contract is for five years and the buyout clause has been set at 200 million Euros.

In addition there is an agreement with Arsenal that in the hypothetical case that Barça win two League titles and one Champions League title with Cesc’s participation, the English club would receive a bonus of 5 million Euros, two for each League title and one for the Champions League

Well I'm trolling Madrid in this case.

I'm going to be honest when I say that although I love Modric and don't...enjoy...Cesc, Cesc is the far more talented player and the fact that Modric is going for 13m euros more than Cesc is hilarious.

It's an even worse deal than us getting Cesc. Which was an awful deal I was against from the start.
