Re: Manchester United 2012/2013 Premier League Season (+ CC & FA Cup)
Start Buttner next game.
I don't care if he has zero match experience and that he's barely in the squad, Evra is horsesh*t so far this year, continuing where he was last year. Remember the times when he and Ashley Cole were duking it out for best LB in this league? The difference is Cole has actually sustained himself (at least better than Evra), Evra hasn't.
Cleverley was disappointing today, but then again, I'm sure this won't be that often. Bad game though. I'm positive he and Kagawa will get to show their brilliance throughout the season, we know what they can do.
Fergie also needs to stop playing Rafael as an RB and reshape him as an RM. We know what he can do going forward but defensively
And yeah, our season will be full of matches like this . Watch us struggle to put away Reading and West Ham. Andy Carroll will kill that defense
Evans on the bench is a good sign that hopefully things will turn around. Ferdinand-Vidic 2012 has been NOTHING like the solid partnership we know them of. Can't wait for Smalling & Jones to get back too.

I think Rio and Vidic are still a great defensive partnership. None of our goals this season has come because of their mistakes.
V Everton- We had Carrick who tamely man marked a physical beast like Fellaini.
V Fulham- Poor marking from Young, who slipped, and a DDG mistake cost us 2 goals.
V Southampton- Lambert outjumped a far smaller player in Rafa. 2nd goal, Evra slips at a crucial spot.
Our full backs are super weak defensively, constantly getting ripped by wingers. Our mf also doesn't protect the Cb's enough.
Vidic and Rio have been good despite all these circumstances.
But I agree with you on Buttner to start next game. Evra has completely gone to shit.

evra slipped.....rafael cannot defend...but anyways, our frontline is good, that's a good sign. Cant wait till we get raped by city, pool, arsenal, tottenham in the midfield department thoug

Put Smalling at RB when he returns and Buttner at the left. We've become a laughing stock at the back because of our dysfunctional fullbacks.
Andy Carroll to have a field day against us?

Rafael has big problems when he has to stop the opposite players scoring from headers.I don't expect much from a little RB, but Sir Alex has to change something.Rafael couldn't stop Jelavic at Old Trafford against Everton last season, now he failed against Soton...

Shinji Kagawa stunned United’s backroom staff after notching the most impressive 'bleep test' time since David Beckham left in 2003. [goal]

Too much negativity here! (i include myself).
How about some positives?
- 1000th league game for our legendary manager.
- Topped by a classic comeback that only United are famous for.
-We have an absolutely brilliant striker, who has fit in well to the team. (sorry RG)
-We gave the worse performance in living memory (how many times have we said that in the past 12 months) and still got 3 points.
-Vidic and Rio partnership is back! Evans will be back also after the international break.

Phil Jones has had surgery on a knee meniscus tear sustained in training that will require 6-8 weeks of rehabilitation.

In 2011/2012 we were the team with the most injured players in Premier League. So at this chapter we were on 20th place.I saw some statistics and Man City were 1st with the fewest injuries in EPL.
We need more luck when it comes about injuries.

Fcking joke. United's defensive training is a joke!!
Just infuriates me how our defenders keep picking up injuries.

I think the blame is on the fitness coaches and physios at the club.
The fitness team is not up to standard nowadays. Recall 07-08, the players back then were terrific fitness wise.

Typical boring United performance at OT so far. What's new? Wigan look threatening everytime they come at us.
Not good enough at all. I hope SAF brings on Kagawa, RVP and Valencia for the 2nd half.
