First three home games against Manc City, Arsenal and Manc United, that is not great news
Edit. And nice, in Jan-Feb our three successive away games are against United, Arsenal and City...
Funny thing that we will be facing Steve Clarke's club West Brom on the opening day, too.

Re: Premier League fixures 2012-2013 out tomorrow
I'm glad to have the opening fixture against West Brom instead of mid-table/top teams like we have had in the past 2 years. Although it is worrisome the talented Clark will be managing them.
I see a lot of worries for the opening fixtures in the future.
Well, I say its better to have the more difficult big match fixtures now then later as we will want to take it fully for granted.

Those first 3 home fixtures...
Well, it appears there will be no honeymoon period. We are going to have to face them sometime. Here's hoping the squad can take to Rodgers's system rather quickly.
On the other hand, there are several periods where we have a btter opportunity of building up a good run of form.

And Clark knows our players and "tricks" from last season like his own pockets. He can prepare his team pretty much perfectly.

At least the team will have some EL matches in August to help settle the side and build understanding between the players. That should help a bit, I hope.

Suarez will be playing in the Olympics till August 11th. So he won't be meeting with the team until about a couple of days before the West Brom game. Suarez won't be familiar with Rodgers system and/or the new players so we might not see him take part in the first game
PS. Same with Coates, that is if Uruguay make it to the gold medal game.

I don't even know how to approach Liverpool's ficture list...TBH it's like the opposite of any other team.
The bigger the game , the stronger the opponent, the less I feel I have to worry about

We need Lucas back to full fitness for those big games
cuz let's face it, we are twice the team with him fully fit, especially against big teams.

Lucas Leiva @:I'munoriginal:
Last week of treatment and training then have a break for a week to recharge and back to Liverpool fresh .
That's from Saturday. Good news.

Our end of season run isnt too bad tbh, if start well enough we can still win the league.
Nah but srs, we can fight for the top 4, if we start well.

Problem is it's a big change in system/approach for the side. It could take time to set in and take hold. Who would've thought those early European fixtures would be a blessing in disguise?
