Pienaar isn't crap. Solid player. Gibson has the best shot in the PL. Would also be a decent player if he lost some weight.

Barkley is ridiculously talented and is my choice of young player of the year this season. Fellaini is their best player and Osman is also solid.

Only Neville & Hetinga are crap.

Rodwell to City is a little weird. Probably just a buy for the future, seems a little pointless signing for this season considering City's CM options. Although there's been some talk of De Jong leaving, if Rodwell was to replace him that would make sense.

How is Piennar crap lol, Osman is a very good player and underrated imo. Barkley is only 18 or something but would be nice to see David give him loads of minutes this season.

15m is a great deal for Everton tbh, I guess good for City too some what but Everton got the better of the deal imo.

Well, I'm guessing this is the last we'll hear of Jack Rodwell for quite some time. Far better players (on far higher wages) have been relegated to City's bench in the past few seasons.

As for Everton, they'll find a way to hang around without Rodwell. They always find a way to cope with "major" losses in the transfer market. (examples: Pienaar, Arteta, etc.) As someone mentioned, Everton are stocked with versatile players that can seemingly play anywhere in midfield or defense. It is a very admirable quality, to be honest.

Mole:I had no idea those negotiations were still going on. I thought Ajax had basically ruled it out. If true, it will be interesting to see how Pardew uses him. I think you mentioned that he'd favored 4-4-2 in preseason (correct me if I'm wrong). If so, Anita wouldn't be likely to supplant either Cabaye or Tiote, leaving him on the bench or at full back.

This is bad for Anita. NewCastle is barely a Step Up from Ajax,certainly no major step up & they play rubbish football on top of that.

Anita should have gone to a team where he could play good passing football and where his intelligence could have fit in. Not some team where a rubbish physicaly bully like Tiote who was always considered hopelessly mediocre becomes awesome because ref's dont protect the players and he can bully and foul as much as he wants.

New Castle wont suit Anita,they have an atrocious defense which Anita has to protect and they dont play fluid passing football. Massive loss for Ajax,there is no direct replacement. And possibly another major Dutch star getting wasted.
