Thing is there is noway in hell Debuchy would join Chelsea to be back up to Ivanovic.... you either sell Ivanovic and get Debuchy or keep Ivanovic and dont get Debuchy.
Besides the article above has spoken.... Cabaye's tapping up has done its magic
In other news.... Spanish media has linked us with Rondon again as a replacement for Ba should he leave.
Rotation, we have a shed loads of games next season & Ivan is the 4th choice CB as well. We would have a slot for him in our squad, but then again if he wants to play every single game he's better off else where.
Not going to happen, you can dream all you want but he is'nt going to join you to ride the bench, rotation is just a fancy word for bench lol.
He's 27 and about to make his big move he's not going to ride the bench for some Serbian thug
I still think he will go to Man Utd but i dream

Why in the world would Debuchy be benched for Ivanovic?
Debuchy is considerably better in defense and by far on the offensive side.
What a joke.

Dunno about RVP, but there are rumours that Diego Contento might get a contract extension at Bayern.

Arq i honestly dont see how Arsenal will play a winger-less formation.there would be difficulty fitting all three of them together.
Firmly believe Giroud is a replacement for RVP.

Offensively better yeah for sure, but defensively Brans aerial ability etc make him a real defensive asset tbf and he ain't the best offensively but he doesn't do bad.
I would ROTATE them

Re: Summer Transfer Rumour Thread Pt. 2
I can see the merits of such a system but it seems to be lacking in pace, which has always been an important part of how we play. We need a Walcott/Chamberlain/Gervinho in there, otherwise we'd be too predictable. Walcott's and Chamberlain's ability to cross the ball would be useful in getting the most out of Giroud, too.

Juve coach Antonio Conte is attending the Euros this week and intends to run his eye over the Portugal international.
Conte and Juve management are encouraged that Nani is stalling on agreeing terms over a new deal and know United would be prepared to sell if the stand off continues, says Tuttosport.

We have had solid links to several players in two main positions, but in one you have a club president being a dick and the other no clear option to sign while the young talent pressing through continues to impress...

Sadly, Wenger won't change it and will play a bland 4-3-3 with almost everyone out of position.

What you're telling me is that Arsene (I'm married to the 4-3-3 and all its illegitimate children) Wenger will play with 3 at the back?lenear1030 wrote:Arquitecto wrote:4-3-2-1

How much do you think it would take to pry Vidic away from United?
20 million?
30?

Re: Summer Transfer Rumour Thread Pt. 2
For Madrid....not really.
I was thinking Milan could sell Thiago Silva , work some miracles and upgrade while making a 30 million dollar profit.
Also Malaga need a CB
I'm just thinking people tend to be grossly undervalued coming off a injury and basically a missed season, so someone could get an amazing deal for Vidic right now if people at United deemed him unnecessary.
Then again it's a risk considering he's a destroyer CB and he's heavily reliant on physical attributes we're not sure are still there.
Honestly I really wouldn't mind him since I'm a fan of Ramos distribution but I'm sure the one who will suffer is Varane and not Pepe so that makes me think it's not the best idea.

Where would you play Jovetic though ?
He works best in the centre ,essentially Hazard's position for next season

Hazard, Mata, Jovetic and Lampard to fight it out for their "preferred" position. You can play a striker-less 4-2-1-1-1-1, right?Surag wrote:Abramovich wrote:Hulk deal might fall through, Chelsea looking at Jovetic and Ben Arfa

Re: Summer Transfer Rumour Thread Pt. 2
You can but Jovetic is generally very good playing off the main striker just like Del Piero..
I really dont understand this signing..Or was it just a false promise to Hazard granting him to play AM next season ?
