Where would you play Jovetic though ?
He works best in the centre ,essentially Hazard's position for next season
Mata---------Haazard
----------Jovetic----
-----Torres---------
I suppose you can do that..
But clearly wasnt Hazard promised AM spot for next season ?

Re: Summer Transfer Rumour Thread Pt. 2
No, Hazard was promised game time.
He wants to play as a No.10 with the No.10, neither of which will happen here.
Hence why most Chelsea fans see him as a money maker.

He is a AM in this formation......Iniesta played a basically the same role for Spain in 08 and we all know he wasn't a winger.

Winning 9 of them should do the trick.

Asamoah has arrived in Turin for medical reports believe.
"Asamoah is the Clinic Fornaca(Turin,Italy). Between now and tomorrow will end medical."
And Isla will have a medical either tomorrow or on Friday and he will be signing a five year contract.
Another pic right here.Confirmation of Asamoah arriving for medical

Re: Summer Transfer Rumour Thread Pt. 2
So this is pretty much official.Right from Juventus.com
"Kwadwo Asamoah has arrived in Turin for a medical ahead of a proposed switch to Juventus.
The Ghanaian midfielder, who has featured for Torino and Udinese since moving to Italy in 2008, earlier visited the city’s Clinica Fornaca di Sessant, and will now conduct further tests at the Istituto di Medicina dello Sport."

Hazard isn't playing AM next season. Stop it.
And no to Ben Arfa. We have enough defensive liabilities in our side already.
Definitely wouldn't say no to Jovetic though.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumour Thread Pt. 2
if you sign Jovetic, you are going to have 3 left sided player on your team, someone is going to have to go right.
Mata's athletic limitations are some of the reasons why he plays behind the CF now, not a great defender. Hazard game is much better on the left.

Re: Summer Transfer Rumour Thread Pt. 2
City boss Roberto Mancini sees Llorente as potential cover for the unsettled Edin Dzeko.
"It's always nice to have teams interested in you, as it means that you have had a good season," he said.
"But I am happy because I am already at a great club in Athletic."
----------------------------
M'Vila:
"Frankly, I can say that I've put aside my move and I can assure you that it does not bother me. If you take me to sign a contract now, I think I would do!" he said laughing.
"Of course, after the European Championship I will be a bit more stressed. Therefore, I'll know my future before the holidays."

Re: Summer Transfer Rumour Thread Pt. 2
Napoli are reportedly ready to double Edinson Cavani’s wage and partially concede image rights, in an attempt to keep him at the club.
The Uruguayan striker, who has scored 49 League goals for the Vesuviani in the two seasons he has been with the club, has been linked with a summer switch out of the San Paolo.
However, with Ezequiel Lavezzi in negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain over a transfer, Aurelio De Laurentiis has reportedly instructed sporting director Riccardo Bigon to tie Cavani to a new deal, in a move similar to that taken with Marek Hamsik at the end of last season.
Il Mattino alleges that negotiations with the 25-year-old and his agent will begin next week, with the club reportedly happy to more than double the striker's annual salary from €2.4m to €5m, which would make him one of Serie A’s best paid footballers.
Also, the Partenopei would add a further sweetener to talks by partially conceding image rights back to the player.
Cavani’s current deal has another four years to run, having only been signed last summer upon completion of his permanent transfer from Palermo.

Juve make €5m Verratti bid
Pescara are evaluating Juventus’ latest offer for Italian Under-21 international Marco Verratti, claim Sky Sport Italia.
The two parties met this morning where the Old Lady tabled a €5m bid for a half-share in the promising midfielder.
Pescara, Serie B champions, will reportedly now take the next few days assessing whether to accept or decline the proposal.
As part of the agreement, the 19-year-old would remain with his hometown club for at least one more season – as desired by himself and the Delfini.
Verratti, who was included in Italy’s 32-man preliminary squad for Euro 2012, has also been linked with Napoli, Inter, Genoa and Roma.

Pescara would be dumb to sell Verrati for 5m , unless the player wants Juventus . Nevertheless , i am not sure any team will be able to get him for 5m .

Read the article ...It says 5m for co-owning him plus we would leave him at Pescara for one more season..

oh i misunderstood that half , thought it was about half his price being offered or something . Nevertheless , can't say i said anything wrong either .
Pescara should only accept a full sale for Verrati , because his next season might not be up to his standards for all we know and they will be losing money if this happens ; having accepted this offer.
However , it's also understandable from Juventus , they don't want to risk too much . This is 50-50 to happen , imo.

If you dont work hard you dont get into Pardew's line up its that simple.....
He's worked his bullocks off the last few months, theres been many games where he's won the ball back more than any other player.
The myth he doesnt work hard is utterly rubbish.
Infact Pardew has said on many occasions that sometimes he works too hard
![Laughing](https://2img.net/i/fa/i/smiles/icon_lol.gif)
You wont get him anyway unless you pay a Carroll like fee.

You can look at it the other way round too..If he performs well next season,Pescara will demand more for his other half obviously.
I agree with you though ,hope we close this deal with a few loans and co-ownerships..There is talk of we signing Gabbiadiani and sending him to Pescara as part of the Veratti deal but we'll see.
And also Veratti is a Juventus and Del Piero fan..He even said this in an interview.
