Cesar set for QPR

Inter goalkeeper Julio Cesar is set to sign a four-year contract with QPR worth €2.5m per season after his wife sent a farewell message to Nerazzurri fans.

The only delay is with regards to the payment Inter will hand over to terminate his contract early. :facepalm:

and there i thought we'd be recieving a fee, turns out we have to pay to get him out the door

i really respect this keeper, his reflex is superb. he may be shaky in dealing with crosses, and may have difficulties in free kicks, but yes he had his days and was one of the grande inter 2010

transfer fee could be better. but overall i'm pleased. loved him at inter but he's just lost too much motivation. better for our squad if he leaves.

now we won't see zanetti in midfield (i hope) and see him at his best position RB. Nagatomo, Jonathan and M'baye will get more chances to grow now

This was a very positive transfer campaign, who would have thought we would sign all these players.

Handanovic should be unupgrade to the inconsistant Cesar we've seen in the last two seasons. Periera should solve our LB problem. Silverstre is a good squad player but he isnt the CB we need. Guarin and Gargano are two excellent signings while cassano is a class player that can change a game with one touch, and he's more useful to us than Pazzo.

All and all we're a few players away from being top 10 in europe again. We still need a ball playing CM (paulinho in january ?) and a couple of defensive signings. We could also use a natural winger to give us more tactical flexibility.

All in all i have high expectations this season. If things go our way we could challenge for Serie A but the least we should achieve is CL qualification. Semi finals in EL would be great, and i would mind the Coppa

a very impressive transfer campaign really. my only concern may be the slow defence, but it is good that we solved the full back issues (both in defence and attack). it would have been perfect if we got poli and got rid of stanko, but this is good nw.
Expectations:
challenge to win serie A
and maybe go far in EL (as long as we avoid Atletico madrid)
