Re: Summer 2012 Transfers Thread
Word on the street is Cesar is leaving Inter for free. Milan are lining up an offer once he's released

Inter Agree Silverstre Fee
His Rosanero employers are understood to have accepted Inter’s offer of an initial loan for the defender. La Beneamata will reportedly pay €2m for a two-season loan, with a further €6m set as the fee for the Milanese side to make the switch permanent.
ps: i doubt that this could happen since Palermo paid 8m for him just last year, but if this is true then

Unsure of the fee for Silvestre but I've heard from different sources that he is in Milan for a medical just like Handanovic
Forlans contract was supposedly going to be terminated today

Selling a player has all the pros of contract termination while recieving a transfer fee. Obviously selling players should be the first priority but at this point no one will pay a dime for our oldies and we're forced to release them for free

Also, since Poli didn't feature in enough games to activate his buy-clause (Thanks again Ranieri you scraggly faced buffoon) it is being reported that Sampdoria have raised the price significantly and we may be forced to use either Pazzini or some combination of Cladirola/Donati/Livaja to lower the price

The outfit are trying to get rid of the trio and their exclusion from their Pinzolo training retreat, which starts today, has underlined that they are not in the club’s plans

Official: Forlan is out
“FC Internazionale communicates that it has deposited at the offices of the Lega Serie A documentation of the termination of the contract with Diego Forlan,” read a brief statement released on their official website.
Forlan was bought from Atletico Madrid last August for a fee of €5m. His contract with the Italians had an annual salary of €3.5m and had a year left to run.
cant believe we lost 8.5m on him

Inter-Krasic ‘more than an idea’
Milos Krasic could stay in Serie A next term, with reports indicating that Inter are preparing a move for the wantaway Juventus man.
The Serbian winger barely featured for the Bianconeri last term under Antonio Conte and is widely known to be available on the transfer market this summer for a fee in the region of €10m.
Links to the Nerazzurri go back to his days at CSKA Moscow but the Corriere dello Sport believe that the current speculation pushing them to the 27-year-old is ‘more than just an idea’.

“Paulinho Is An Inter Player, It’s Done”
On July 7, 2012 by Michael
What is the latest situation regarding Paulinho?
To give us the latest update here is José Eduardo Savoia, Brazilian journalist of Rede Record and it was him that yesterday, on his Twitter account, announced the purchase of Paulinho by Inter.José, your announcement was a sort of breaking news.“Paulinho will play for Inter, it is all defined. I can repeat that again.”Let’s start with the first detail.“There was a meeting yesterday in a hotel in Sao Paulo. A prestigious hotel. It was all defined there, mainly with Audax who holds the most of his card at 45%.
”Who was at this meeting?“There was virtually everybody. Other than Piero Ausilio, there was Paulinho’s agent, a representative of Audax, one for BMG and one for Corinthians who tried to fight for the player because Corinthians do not want to sell Paulinho. But Corinthians only have 10% of his card so everything was pretty much in favor of Inter.”You’re being very certain here, absolutely certain…“My source was at the meeting yesterday, a direct protagonist. Paulinho will play for Inter. However, these were not the only people at this meeting.
”Who else?“
There was also Mr. Wagner Ribeiro, agent of Neymar and Lucas. One important man for Brazilian transfer market.”Inter also have their eyes on Lucas. So much so that your colleagues at Lancenet announced a meeting between Inter and father and agent of Lucas.“These are their information on Lucas so I cannot tell you much about it. But I know that Wagner Ribeiro was in the meeting in which Inter closed the deal for Paulinho.”The cost of this deal?“This detail I am not really sure. It will be around 8-9 million euros.”Source: FC Inter News

Re: Summer 2012 Transfers Thread
I totally agree bhends, we actually have a myriad of selection for the upcoming season for that position. If anything I wouldn't the extra creativity in the DM/MC position, low transfer fee. I just hope this prospective signing will not stunt the likes of Obi, Poli, Duncan, Romano, Benassi , Tassi and Bessa.
