Selling a player has all the pros of contract termination while recieving a transfer fee. Obviously selling players should be the first priority but at this point no one will pay a dime for our oldies and we're forced to release them for free

“FC Internazionale communicates that it has deposited at the offices of the Lega Serie A documentation of the termination of the contract with Diego Forlan,” read a brief statement released on their official website.

Forlan was bought from Atletico Madrid last August for a fee of €5m. His contract with the Italians had an annual salary of €3.5m and had a year left to run.

Milos Krasic could stay in Serie A next term, with reports indicating that Inter are preparing a move for the wantaway Juventus man.

The Serbian winger barely featured for the Bianconeri last term under Antonio Conte and is widely known to be available on the transfer market this summer for a fee in the region of €10m.

To give us the latest update here is José Eduardo Savoia, Brazilian journalist of Rede Record and it was him that yesterday, on his Twitter account, announced the purchase of Paulinho by Inter.José, your announcement was a sort of breaking news.“Paulinho will play for Inter, it is all defined.  I can repeat that again.”Let’s start with the first detail.“There was a meeting yesterday in a hotel in Sao Paulo.  A prestigious hotel.  It was all defined there, mainly with Audax who holds the most of his card at 45%.

”Who was at this meeting?“There was virtually everybody.  Other than Piero Ausilio, there was Paulinho’s agent, a representative of Audax, one for BMG and one for Corinthians who tried to fight for the player because Corinthians do not want to sell Paulinho.  But Corinthians only have 10% of his card so everything was pretty much in favor of Inter.”You’re being very certain here, absolutely certain…“My source was at the meeting yesterday, a direct protagonist.  Paulinho will play for Inter.  However, these were not the only people at this meeting.

I totally agree bhends, we actually have a myriad of selection for the upcoming season for that position. If anything I wouldn't the extra creativity in the DM/MC position, low transfer fee. I just hope this prospective signing will not stunt the likes of Obi, Poli, Duncan, Romano, Benassi , Tassi and Bessa.
