Good looking first XI but when you look at the bench you realize that Serie A aint gonna happen.

Pereira is a beast,Porto rejected 20+ million offers for him in the past.Fortunately for us he had a fallout with the coach and got frozen out of the team which is why we are getting him this cheap.

I heard Nagatomo is a beast, turned out to be pretty much a headless chicken.

gargano is official
if the perreira rumours are true then we have a great team this season.
if we bring affelay i think it means that alvarez is leaving

I think Alvarez has to have fallen out of favor somehow?
He is in the lista fuori for todays game instead of the unavailable list?
Maybe someone who understands Italian better can enlighten me as to what "lista fuori" means in context...If he was injured I assumed he would be on the unavailable list with Obi and Handanovic right?

I think it means he wasn't even registered...He is not gonna be fit for either of the fixtures so no point.

Official: Inter sign periera
The initial fee is believed to be in the region of €10 million but could rise depending on the player's appearances and the Italian club's performance over the season.
Should the Uruguayan appear 25 time for the Nerazzurri, the Portuguese side will receive an additional €2m - and another million should Inter qualify for the 2013-14 Champions League.
A further €2m will also be paid to Porto if Inter win either Serie A, the Coppa Italia or the Europa League, taking the transfer to a potential total of €15m.

Re: Summer 2012 Transfers Thread
Where did we get all that money from ? so far we have spent 47m on new players, which could increase by a further 18m with the buyouts and bonuses. We only Recieved 7m from Pazzini, 6m from Casta and 8m from pandev for a total of 21m. Maicon and Cesar could still leave for 6 to 8m each raising the potential sales to 33-36m. As it stands our net spending is at 26(+18)m
i thought we were broke

47m ??? How have we spent that much
From Wikipedia:
Palacio: 10.5m
Silvestre: 2m (Option to buy 6m)
Handanovic: 11m
Mudingayi: 750k (Option to buy 750k)
Gargano: 1.5m (Option to buy 5m)
Cassano: Free
Perreira: 10m (Bonuses totaling 5m)
That brings our total out spending to about 35 million
Money:
7m Pazzini
6m Castaignos
7.5m Pandev
About 20.5m brought in from sales
So our net spend this year so far is only about 15 million Euros
We have some work to do no doubt, our squad is too big (I think its at like 30 people at the moment) and we need to stop buying 30 years olds and actually commit to the god damn youth movement FFS...Im probably alone in this but I think we need to dump Sneijder on any team who will take him...Even if we only got 15-20m for him getting that contract off our books would be a God-Send.
Stankovic, Maicon, Cesar, Jonathan, Chivu, Samuel should all be gotten rid of in the next year - that will significantly drop our wage bill

I agree our squad has became too big. Maicon and Cesar better be leaving for real or our spending will bite us in he ass soon. I wouldnt mind selling Sniejder if it means more time for Countinho and i think we're keeping him only because no one is buying him.

Were still in the qualifying round?
At the very least he'll be available for play in Europe after the Winter Window right?

It's the same situation with Forlan last year, he played the qualifying round with Atletico but it turned out he couldnt play in Europe when he joined us
