Summer 2012 Transfers Thread
Inter prepare €9m offer for Franck Tabanou
The Nerazzurri are keen to add a new left-back to their squad ahead of the 2012-13 campaign, and they see the 23-year-old Frenchman as the perfect signing.
Tabanou has a contract with Toulouse until the summer of 2015, but Inter are hopeful that a fee in the region of €9 million will be enough to lure him away from his current club.
Poli & Polombo
The two Italian midfielders ended the campaign on loan from the Serie B outfit and it is unclear what the Beneamata’s intentions are. Polombo made only 3 appearances for Inter since his move in January and doesnt look to feature in Inter's long term plans. Poli, meanwhile, didn’t play in enough games for the activation of the obligation to buy clause ( )
Inter targeting Gomez
Catania’s short winger Alejandro Gomez has reportedly caught the eye of those planning Inter’s overhaul this summer.
However, there is allegedly a gulf between the two clubs’ valuation of the player, with Inter said to be preparing a €6m bid against the Rossazzurri’s €10m asking price. The Sicilians paid San Lorenzo a reported €3m to bring the Argentine to Serie A in 2010.
Strama on Destro and Lavezzi
Inter boss Andrea Stramaccioni is welcoming transfer links with Ezequiel Lavezzi of Napoli and Siena’s Mattia Destro. “Destro has had a great season and he has demonstrated his value. Lavezzi, meanwhile, has shown this term that he can make a difference on the international stage.” Lavezzi has a 31 million release clause.

Moey :vagi:
I have a feeling this thread will infuriate me often
Why the hell do we need this Tabanou guy? We just bought nagatomo to be our left back last freaking year...We could move him to right back I guess but thats basically a huge f*ck you to Faraoni
We could probably use Destro, but why would he want to come to us when we discarded him like he was useless just a little while ago?
I dont know much about gomez but if he is a TRUE winger (i.e someone who hugs the touchline) we could probably use him, otherwise he'll just get in the way of Coutinho/Alvarez
Lavezzi is great but expensive and I think we should get rid of Sneijder if we get him
Palombo we don't need
Poli we do...

Isla I would like to get, unsure about the price though
Its still a f*ck you to Faraoni, but at least in the case of Isla we know its a definite and significant upgrade, rather than some variable from the French league I've never heard of until today
No reason to get Kolarov IMO
No reason to get De Jong IMO

Re: Summer 2012 Transfers Thread
we REALLY need a left back. Can't always rely on zaneti for def there. Lucio makes too many errors, and the japanese guy cant really defend that well :[ He's more of an attacking fullback. Maybe unload some oldies too

I like having Nagatomo as our left back... he's full of energy and will do anything you tell him...

Re: Summer 2012 Transfers Thread
Nagatomo is so so bad at defending I would hate to see him starting regularly...
Loses too much balls when he's under pressure, always kicks it out on his right. For some strange reason he always runs to the middle and leaves his man alone when we're conceding a counter. The amount of times he gets caught upfront would make Maicon blush.
I also dislike the idea of Tabanou,he used to be a left winger and considering he's coming from Ligue 1 he's gonna have trouble being our LB.I would love Criscito but he's too expensive and hard to get,so Kolarov seems to be the best choice and he's around 10 mill IMO.

Lavezzi to PSG, Inter to focus on Destro
Carlo Ancelotti’s side are said to be in negotiations for a contract worth €5m per season, plus the €31m to activate his buy-out clause from Napoli.
Taking this into account, Inter are turning their attention to Siena hitman Destro, who received a call-up for Italy’s Euro 2012 long list

Re: Summer 2012 Transfers Thread
i think we need a left back for sure, we dont have other options than naga, and chivu (if he's fu**en stayin) is weak on the flank, and a young player is needed (but im afraid the 9m will be exagerated for him).
poli should stay, we need a CB and an attacker, and sell lucio and pazzo.
if we manage our transfers well we can have a decent team next year

Destro Updates
The Gazzetta claims that Inter are ready to offer the Rossoblu their half share in Marassi midfielder Juraj Kucka, as well as the loan of Primavera striker Samuele Longo and cash.
However, there is a difference of opinion when it comes to the valuation of the player picked in Italy’s preliminary 32-man squad for Euro 2012.
Genoa rate forward Destro at around €20m, but Inter think he’s worth closer to €15m. Siena will also have to have their say.
“There is a verbal agreement between Genoa President Enrico Preziosi and Inter chief Massimo Moratti that the Nerazzurri will have the priority if a sale occurs.” representative Renzo Contratto Said

“I must say that I have not spoken to anyone at Inter. But certainly, it would be great if everything is true and then materializes. Relationship with the Nerazzurri? My sale was an opportunity for me because Inter then were the team with great champions so there was little room for young players who want to play at high levels like me. Going to another team to get experience was important. This is very nice that Inter are looking at me now because this is a great team. But honestly I have not spoken to anyone about my future. I am only thinking about my commitment and focusing on the Azzurri.”

As for Lavezzi, I have heard that Inter are far closer to him rather then PSG.
The reports I read were from France and Argentina.
