I misspoke. I don't think we can buy anyone better. Busquets is the best DM, Lucas on form is the best in the EPL. neither are available.

Defensive stability is good as it would obviously make the jobs of the back four easy, but Mikel isn't doing shit. Might as well have a good enough CM that can improve the play as well

Mikel is a stable DM IMO, yes he might make mistakes here and there but, he is one of the best in that position atm.

We're not going to find anyone better than Mikel and Paired with a hard worker like Moutinho I think most of his mistakes can be covered.

That's true infinity but it's not the mistakes I'm worried about. He's like the player we just put on the pitch while playing street football just to be nice and pass a few simple balls.

I understand why you don't like him Soul but who would you play instead? Romeu has had a long injury lay off and won't be anywhere near Mikel's level next season.

Ramires is very restricted in the pivot and ideally, shouldn't be playing there. Lampard is most likely gone and I am not sure We'll buy 1 CM let alone 2.

True, attack wise. Defense wise... he is the wall that breaks up counter attacks, Luiz's mistakes and etc. Remember Makelele? Its not the same, but he is the closest we can get.

The sad thing is Mikel is needed currently, he's the only one who can sit back with defensive discipline (well aside from Romeu but he won't be back any time soon). Everyone knows how I feel about Mikel Laughing

, there are many "CDMs" Id rather have over him - Bender bros (Lars for me) etc.
