Re: John Obi Mikel
Mikel has signed a 5 year contract which will see him remain at the club till 2017.

Re: John Obi Mikel
Changed the game when he came on against United.
Rafa
Lampard and Ramires midfield duo is abomination, one of them needs to be paired with Mikel.

"Changed" the game yesterday, well impressed. He needs to start from now on for sure, Lamps and Rambo just doesn't work.

Am sure I replied to this thread earlier
For me Rambo if Mathazcar is infront of them, his tackling has been beast this season don't know his stats mind you but still it's high and them "3rd" man runs he make are just boss.

What you guys think will happen to Romeu next season? Who knows when he will recover, but i personally would like to see us develop Chalobah at CDM and prefer him over Romeu.

sadly yes, but he should come in the second half, he will still score goals.
Re: John Obi Mikel
Sadly, I don't think Romeu is going to make it here, anymore.
CHalobah will be favoured over him and we also have Mikel so I think it is a matter of time before he leaves.

Re: John Obi Mikel
Wasn't too bad today but the 1st goal could have been prevented if he tracked back properly

Re: John Obi Mikel
not soley his responsibility to mark that guy, Ramires is at fault too. So are the CB's. Can't blame Mikel for that.

True but since Mikel offers nothing going forward you'd expect better from him

Re: John Obi Mikel
I like his composure and long balls but the guy is too slow. He would have worked out if Ballack and Lampard were still around but with OscHazMat he's just the guy every street footballer passes just to be nice.
He slows down the attacking so much with his indecision and his lack of pace creates more opportunity for the opponents.

Re: John Obi Mikel
True, but he has been rotated quite a lot and sometimes some players tend to dip in form with that. He is easily one of the best DM's in the PL now. When he plays the backline is more comfortable, with Luiz's runs forward it helps to have a calm head close to the backs, who can also defend.

Re: John Obi Mikel
He hasen't played that well recently, but its not like he has been the only one who has gone through a bad patch.
Huh?
Bertrand has been solid, has done remarkably well in Cole absence.
