Re: Didier Drogba..
Anyone with a brain can see why he was diving all over the place. Look at the team he was playing against, for God's sake. He's cut the theatrics down since Mourinho left but he brought it back today lol;
Gave Barca a taste of their own medicine.

Re: Didier Drogba..
Okay, using your logic, The few people in Madrid who I have yet to see dive is Kaka, Casillas Benz, and Higuain. Your starting a war with no facts, your team is no better some argue they are worse.paperbackwriter wrote:Gomez83 wrote:You've named three of Madrid and the only three you guys mention is Alves, Busquets and apparently Macherano. So i get it is also systematic in Madrid.paperbackwriter wrote:aford92 wrote:Lol at Madrid fans having a go at Barca players for diving. Have you seen who plays for you? You have CB who dives and kicks his own player.
Yes some Barca players dive but no more than other teams, they are just picked up on more because there is nothing else to criticise about them. That being said Drogba was disgusting tonight, I thought he'd stopped doing this sort of thing years ago, apparently not.
Thing is that it's systematic in Barcelona. Real Madrid have some terrible apples in Di Maria and Pepe and Ronaldo. You'd have to look hard to find any of the rest diving.
In Barcelona even Mascherano, one of the toughest players in the PL have been transformed into an olympic level diver.
Iniesta, Xavi, Pedro, Busquets, Mascherano, Dani Alves, Sanchez, Villa.

What about all the other games he's dived in. Was he giving those teams a taste of their own medicine too?
Honestly, the fact that people are defending him for this is silly.

This. You've to remember this is the same Drogba that called Barca's win a disgrace. He barely gives a damn about his honor when it's versus Barcelona, I think.

Re: Didier Drogba..
Drogba feigns injuries and "dives" to waste time/piss off his marker.
He never dived for a penalty before. It's why he gets a pass from me.

Twat on the pitch, maybe yeah but he's a completely different person off it.
So many hurt feelings because Chelsea fluked one game lol. They'll still get knocked out.

Re: Didier Drogba..
I really like Messi as a player and a person.
I have major respect for Puyol and Pep but I couldn't care less about the rest of Barca and honestly it's about time they were brought back down to earth.
It's a shame that players like Busquets(especially), Alves, Mascherano have attached this diving stigma to a great club.
What Drogba was doing tonight was giving them a taste of their own medicine. I think Chelsea will go through but you can never count Barca out, especially at home.

By the logic on this forum diving is fine because everybody does it.

Re: Didier Drogba..
I don't think anybody thinks it's fine, but what are you going to do to stop it?
Players will do it no matter what, as long as it gives their team an advantage and they aren't punished properly for it.
..Especially in a massive game like a CL semi-final..

Here's some logic for you. Real Madrid have never beaten Barca in 90 minutes under Mou.
