Curious Case that follows Didier Drogba

2003-04: loses to Porto, Porto win CL
2004-05: loses to Liverpool, Liverpool win CL
2005-06: loses to Barcelona, Barcelona win CL
2006-07: loses to Liverpool, Liverpool Runners Up
2007-08: loses to United, United win CL
2008-09: loses to Barcelona, Barcelona win CL
2009-10: loses to Inter, Inter wins
2010-11: loses to United, United Runners Up
2011-12: Drogba wins CL Laughing

2012-13: loses to Madrid, ?????????

So whichever team has knocked out Drogba in the past decade has 1. at least made it to the final and 2. have won the CL (barring two occasions).
