been sayin this for ages, yes he will from time to time will be good against ok teams, but he is slow and have massive physical and technical weaknesses to overcome the top team. even middle class la liga teams dominate him, if it wasnt for his WC workrate, he wont have been in the subs list.

FOR GOD SAKE havent you guys learned anything from having slow 190 cm players in midfeild, just cant beleave people still want javi.

Was thinking about making this thread for a while now. Yes, he's an average alibi kind of player. His fans will claim intangible things like "he keeps our midfield ticking, he's our most intelligent defender" and then refer to inferior football brains if anybody dare to challenge their beliefs.

I can't for my life understand why Sahin isn't starting over him by now. He's a better defender and way better attacker/tempo controller in midfield.

He always sucked big times, you guys just noticed

LOL no.. He is slow as hell.. I play Lass, he can dominate the midfield no problem in the game

I have ramos-schweinstiger there, they are fast, aggressive, defensive and attacking wise complete. the best balance.

for a midifelder, the best size is around 179-185. Bigger slower, smaller weaker.

Khedira is a beast. He's tenacious, a fighter, a worker, you need at least one of those people in your team. Mou understands that.

LOL, but yes, I expect to see more of Sahin next year and hopefully he can be that player for us. Wonder though how long can we expect this partnership to take time to develop - Xabi is 30 now

Khedira is a solid player and can be good at times, imo he's a player to hold on to, but I think a guy like him won't go well with the bench.

LOL Granero is leaps and bounds better than this slough, better posession, better attacking, better shots and can actually defend

Khedira helping defence is just a myth, he is shat at it, just as much as his attacking

Those 3 cm passes can be done by anyone else i mean ANYONE, How about he shows us what he can do other than those short useless passes

people just ignore sahin like mou, how on earth is granero better then sahin, its just beyond reasonable.

As for granero, his is inconsistent, his defensive positioning is suspect, most of the time he dwels the ball, thus distroying 90% of the counters (really hate that part about him), his so called better passing is that he is just like khedira short passing, he leaves his position alot thus creating spaces in midfeild to exploit.

Khedira is wannabe enforcer, most of the time he is just get passed, but he runs back to cover almost everyone, he covers alot of ground, thats his best aspect, attacking wise he is noob, defensive wise its just not enough for a top club starter.

Kheidra has 1.6 tackles and interceptions, 0.4 key passes per game, which is phetitic for a DM playing for madrid, granero has 1.5 tackles and 0.6 interceptions per game, 0.5 key passes per game.

Point is both sucks very badly, and if it was me, i would flush both of, i would rather have a castilla player have the squad player role, our own Javi Garcia can do twices better then these two and he can play as CB and DM.

There is also this our own Fran Rico from granada, he is also rated very highly, he has 2.8 tackles and 3.6 interceptions per game, while also have 0.7 key passes per game. Better then both those 2 combined.

Thats says it all.

Lack of knowledge here is laughable. Khedira was great last night and was one of the top performers alongside Pepe and Ronaldo...
