Villa has the "medical approval but not the sporting one" so while he is fit he is not match fit yet

Muniesa will be out for "6 to 8 months" after his operation this upcoming Tuesday

Fontas will receive the medical approval the 7th of August and will travel to some games

That means Villa can participate in some of Man U game? I don't see Fontas getting much time for us this season. He will not be able to participate in most of our preaseason games and therefore it will be a risk to play him this season.

but i doubt it'll give barca any difficulties owning that match.

I am happy Villa is fit, but if starting v Malaga means he wont start in the league, I would rather he not start.

In term of the team, nothing would make me happier than seeing Villa have a 3-4 game run in the league....on the left side.

The cup game is more important, though, given that Malaga are no joke and we have a nice 8 point cushion in the league. I think Villa would feel more appreciated if he's played in the cup than in the league right now.
