Bojan is definitely that worth. We are talking about 13 milion, not very expensive for a young quality striker. The list is quite good, but they only rated players who are well known already. There are youngsters that their value is higher but as they are not playing at first division they don't appear.

I dont know what factors are used to determine these values, and some examples here suggest this does not actually represent the players actual quality. But i have to say im impressed that jack is in the top 5 despite being injured for 8 months.

According to the article, the variables considered are the sporting performance variables (so how much they play and how well), age, position, the stature of the club they play for and the league they play in and their transfer potential.

I'd imagine that the values of Phil Jones and Jordan Henderson were inflated due to the transfer fees that were paid for them last summer (i.e. their potential for transfer), while the supposed values of the rest are hardly inflated to ridiculous levels, other than Jack Rodwell, who's hasn't quite lived up this potential.

Perhaps a reason why the German kids aren't so prominent is because they don't get paid as much as the English kids do. Pretty much all those players are earning at least £40k p/w or more.

I really feel for English fans, currently getting shit for the market and media ridiculously overhyping their players, while the supporters are actually nowhere that stupid.

We can take some sort of solace from the fact that these values are not a representation of their talent, but rather a combination of other factors as well.

And at least this isn't an English publication that's valuing these players.

It's about value, not talent. De Gea is younger, playing for a higher profile club and cost a lot of money hence his value would be considered higher than the older, home-grown Szczesny.

If they are not as known they are not as expensive, as fame has a lot to do with value nowadays.

The way you bring up Abate, it doesn't seem as if you rate him while he is actually one of europes finest RBs in the defensive strata.
