Yes friends my pain has at least been halved after last night. No one at these forums probably hates Mourinho as much as I do and I am also one of the biggest C.Ronaldo haters here. Even the sight of either of those two sickens me to my stomach. They both can go burn in hell as far as I am concerned. Hence it was so heartening to see a supposedly out of form Robben outplay the supposedly red hot C.Ronaldo for most of the match his two goals notwithstanding and it was even better to see a somewhat forgotten coach like Heynckes get the better of the one who thinks he is a bit too special. Bayern must not throw it away from here. Heynckes can join the elite with two UCL wins and that too with different clubs. As far as I am concerned if some glory in football cannot be given to Messi, Xavi and/or Iniesta, then let it go to Robben - one of my top favorite non-Barca players. Unlike C.Ronaldo he shows up in big games most of the times and often makes a big difference including crucially international matches as well. I wouldn't mind seeing him lead Netherlands to glory at Euro 2012.

In all honesty I think refereeing decisions in favor and against either side kind of evened out and ultimately the team which was at least marginally better over the two legs as a whole went through.

JD has Barcelona in his heart, and is an amazing Barcelona fan. I would gladly stand by his statements.

Not only that, you don't even need to be a Barcelona fan to hate either. I'm sure I would still hate both even if I was say a Dortmund fan. I mean, Mourinho is a great coach no doubt, and C. Ronaldo is one of the best players of the game right now and I can respect that, but nothing else about them do I care for and I never will.

Where does being a grown man have to do with any of this? Where does being a fan of your team become an immature thing. I don't understand your statements.

I think what people dont understand is, nobody hates Mou and Cristiano because they are at Madrid. I know me especially, hated them longer before that.

tbf man , robben didnt outplay ronaldo , he was actually quite poor for most of the match .. he could have done much better in a host of promising situations.. marcelo ;s defending impressed me after a long time

Yes it wasn't a vintage performance by Robben but on the balance of play over the entire match I thought his movement was better than C.Ronaldo and he created more danger in the final third than C.Ronaldo. That's what I think but of course you are free to disagree.
