El Shaarawy had ankle surgery in Portugal. He will be out till March.
I'm not even gonna post a gif or smiley because nothing comes close to what I'm feeling.

Re: MilanLab - News about Injuries and Suspensions
So basically, our best player is out until mid-march with an injury that is severely damaging for his footballing career, while in the process missing our single-most important and redeeming tie in our whole season. I cannot stress how disappointed I am and how players like El Shaarawy are the ones needed to break Atletico's defence.

Pazzini has sustained a muscular injury. He will undergo further examinations in 8-10 days time to determine the extent of his injury.

Re: MilanLab - News about Injuries and Suspensions
Is it just me or does anyone else find it stupid that we always need 8-10 days to evaluate how long a player is our for? Barcelona only needed a few hours to understand Neymar will be out for 3-4 weeks and we need 8-10 days? Are our medical facilities that backdated?

Pazzini on his official facebook account:
“Thank goodness that I’ll only be out for a few days this time and I’m already working to get back on the pitch as soon as possible! This small setback definitely won’t change my desire and enthusiasm, on the contrary. Thanks for all your messages of support!”
Phew.

Thank God. We probably would have bought Heskey then.

Re: MilanLab - News about Injuries and Suspensions
Milan midfielder Bryan Cristante will be out of action for a month after fracturing his fibula.
The Canadian-Italian sustained the injury during a training session on Wednesday.
This evening the club announced he has an incomplete fracture of the base of the fibula and will be out of action for a month if there are no complications.
It means he will miss both legs of the Champions League Round of 16 tie against Atletico Madrid.
Still only 18, Cristante has made four senior appearances for Milan this season, scoring one goal.
---------------------------------------
Highly disappointing that he will miss the opportunity to play in the Champions League against Atletico. Our casualty list continues to reach absurd heights this season.

Re: MilanLab - News about Injuries and Suspensions
Milan will be without Giampaolo Pazzini for a couple of days after he sustained a nose injury.
The striker started in Sunday’s 2-0 victory away to Sampdoria and received a blow to the face.
This evening the Rossoneri released a statement confirming he dislocated the cartilage in his nose.
The dislocation was reduced by specialist Professor Renato Gaini and Pazzini will be able to train with his teammates again after two days.

Re: MilanLab - News about Injuries and Suspensions
The single most exciting prospect of this season (if the ONLY exciting prospect) is how Stephan will jump back after his injury and how he will inevitably slot in like a club in Seedorf's technically demanding semantic.

I wish there was a fast forward button so that I can watch El Shaarawy play and then end the season.

Re: MilanLab - News about Injuries and Suspensions
what an absolute tragedy his absence was meant to be for Milan. Just goes to show what he was for the team last season , even when he wasn't scoring.
I'd say his full recovery is of paramount importance to Milan and i think the club has acted in this way , so i hope we will continue to be carefull with his use and treatment untill the end of the season , rather rush him to achieve objectives here and there.
Nobody would like to see a Pato case appear once again and his absence is already huge , both in significance and time.

Re: MilanLab - News about Injuries and Suspensions
LOL! We don't have any objectives!
I'd rather he stayed on the sidelines for the rest of the season and made a full recovery then rushed into the team. And I doubt he gonna change much anyway. He is but one guy.

Re: MilanLab - News about Injuries and Suspensions
i was talking about in-game objectives , like a winner or an equaliser . I am not the one to suggest if it would be worth any risk , but it would be devastating to see Ses injured yet again. We can't have that anymore , not if Seedorf can help it at least.

Re: MilanLab - News about Injuries and Suspensions
Riccardo Montolivo has undergone surgery on his injury and initial indications are Milan could be without him for up to six months.
The midfielder suffered a broken tibia over the weekend whilst in action for Italy and was first thought to be facing a recovery time of between three and four months.
This morning he underwent surgery as planned, with the procedure reportedly lasting almost two hours.
Milan have communicated that the operation was a ‘technical success’ and that Montolivo will be assessed in 40 days’ time to determine ‘the best period of recovery, unless there are complications’.
However, ANSA are running quotes from the surgeon, Dr Herbert Schoenhuber, on the projected recovery time.
“Six months out? For this type of injury this is usually the time,” Dr Schoenhuber is quoted as saying.
“Back in four to five months” No, I do not think so.
“And everything went well. In 40 days’ time we will do the assessments and then decide on what to do.”
Whilst Adriano Galliani has publicly stated the Rossoneri’s support for their captain, Tuttosport indicate he is also making plans to make up for his absence on the pitch.
It is believed that, alongside redeeming Andrea Poli on a permanent deal, Galliani is considering movement for one of three specific targets initially identified.
Specifically, these are believed to be Catania’s Francesco Lodi and Atalanta duo Daniele Baselli and Luca Cigarini, the latter co-owned with Napoli.

MDS & Mexes return for the next game.
Pazzini's injury (muscular problem that he picked up in training) is being evaluated.
