Re: MilanLab - News about Injuries and Suspensions
I've updated the squad list for the 2012/13 season. It will be changed throughout the transfer season as we buy more players.

I've now added some extra info tho the list...

Nationality (helpful to see if players have EU status or not)
CL Status (not available yet, but it will show which players are included in the CL squad)
D.O.B (date of birth)
Contract expires

Daniele Tognaccini is no longer a coach of the first team but will now be in charge of the research and development centre at Milan Lab.

Re: MilanLab - News about Injuries and Suspensions
More info:
AC Milan communicate that Sulley Muntari has undergone surgery for the reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.
The operation, which went perfectly, took place at La Madonnina clinic in Milan by professor Schonhuber, who was assisted by Rossonero doctor Stefano Mazzoni.
The recovery time is around five to six months, excluding complications.

Not sure if that's good news or bad news!

Re: MilanLab - News about Injuries and Suspensions
Rodney Strasser has been ruled out for two to three months for Milan after fracturing his ankle during pre-season.

Re: MilanLab - News about Injuries and Suspensions
DIDAC VILA has undergone a surgery in the groin which rules him out for 8 weeks, Milan confirmed.
The season starts in five days but Milan already have three injured players as Didac Vila joins Sulley Muntari and Rodney Strasser on the treatment table after undergoing a surgery in the groin on Tuesday.
Didac, 23-years-old, was on his way to Valencia but failed the medical check-ups with a groin problem. Milan brought the player back and have now confirmed he’ll be out of action for at least eight weeks.
Milan are very close to send Djamel Mesbah to Palermo and the official announcement should be made any minute. This means Didac may actually get a chance this season, even though Luca Antonini is still the first in the pecking order for left-back – provided Milan do not buy any more fullbacks this summer.
Didac, who is represented by Mino Raiola, arrived to Milan in January 2011. He played just one game for Milan that year and spent the 2011/2012 season on loan at Espanyol. He’ll hope for better luck now.

Milan have confirmed that Pato is suffering from an injury to his right abductor muscle in his left leg. More medical tests are planned for tomorrow. The recovery spell is still unknown.

Pato out again. All hopes are gone once and for all. At least I wont even spend a second thinking he will come back and start developing as a player, its only going backwards. Damn, what a shame we didnt sell him to PSG when we had a chance.
Probably a MRS Berlusconi behind this. "Dont sh1t where you eat!"
Maybe this will put more pressure on a striker.

good source. I heard 3 wks from a few sources earlier, but I'm waiting for an official report from the club.RealGunner wrote:Pato will be out (injured) between 30-45 days, says 'Gazzetta dello Sport'
btw, Arsenal's Injury thread was the inspiration for this thread (as well as Milan's injury crisis of last season). If you look at the OP, you can see that I've made some improvements on that format
