Re: Pep could coach Inter next season
Ultimate respect to Pep if he takes a job at Inter, overhauls the squad, re-strategises, creates a new formation and implements a new style.
The Inter job at present is not child's play.. It needs someone enigmatic and intelligent.
There are about 5 players in that squad that could become relevant counterparts to a new era, the others are either too old, or have been signed purely to plug holes.
The reward for turning this Inter around would result in legendary status at the club.. surpassing Mourinho who many Inter fans felt that he came in with an idea, used them to secure a greater reputation and left them in emotional turmoil.
Re: Pep could coach Inter next season
I'd take Pep or AVB or Spaletti or Dunga or probably a couple other names
Just someone with a motherf*cking plan is what I want

50 million is more than enough...
Anelka - 34 mill
Baljic - 26 mill
Flavio - 25 mill
Samuel - 25 mill
Woodgate - 20 mill
Owen - 12 mill
Baptista 20 mill
Gago - 20 mill
M. Diarra - 27 mill
Drenthe - 14 mill
Huntelaar - 20 mill
L. Diarra - 20 mill
Kaka - 67 mill
Albiol - 15 mill
That genius recruiting staffThose 300 million spent over a decade on players who left for free next season or failed miserably
I wonder how would it look like over the past 2 years if you didn't get Mou...Doesn't matter tho,you made money on shirt sales
![]()
so long term player destroying injuries never happen right???
Lass is crap???
Baptista crap???
i would like to ask you how these fared when they left us???
huntelaar couldnt cut it at another top European club

Our recruitment policy only started making some sense two years ago.
Before then it was major lulz all round.

Pep would have to take half the Masia with him for that to make sence. The Masia and maybe Messi.

Re: Pep could coach Inter next season
Nick you dont need Genius to recuit a quality eleven with 50 million you just need good scouts.......
Take us for example, i know Inter are challenging at the top or should be and we are challenging for Europe League but iam going to go ahead and make the comparison anyway.......
Krul-Free
Santon-5m
Ben Arfa-5m
Tiote-3.5m
Cabaye-4m
Marveaux-Free
Ba-Free
Cisse-9m
All over the last 2 windows plus Krul and thats without considering the sales .
It's not impossible to build a quality eleven/squad on a "non-moneybags" budget.
Dortmund is another example of this.
I hate the notion you have to spend crap loads of money to make a quality squad.

I dont think you need loads of money to get you to compete, but to win, I think you need a bit more than 50m.
Or a great youth set up, with young players always improving.

Re: Pep could coach Inter next season
Let's see who might fit in peps system that's already at inter:
Alvarez, coutinho, poli, forlan, guarin, and milito are all technical enough to adapt.
Obi, juan, kanobi(JK), rannochia, castaignos, nagatomo, crisiteg, faraoni and mariga are all young and talented enough to be moulded.
And add in a few players (hypothetically of course) we're linked to,
Banega, rodrigo, Lucas, Oscar, damiao, dybala, ocampos, schurrle, marin, m'vila,(someone poached from barca), etcetera, and I'm sure guardiola could make something happen, in due time.

We paid 90m? Thats more than I wouldve thought, actually
Although IIRC Samuel was actually really expensive right?
