Re: Pep could coach Inter next season
He also wore a black and blue scarf on the weekend, so theres that.
But yeah, if he leaves, then I cant blame him and wish him well. Dont have a clue why on earth he would go to Inter though.
TBH I dont think even he knows what he will do, he spends too much time thinking about our games let alone what will happen next season.

Re: Pep could coach Inter next season
I do want to see how Pep handles coaching a club like Inter, with 90% players who have no idea what passing football means. An aging cast, limited resources, maybe not enough patience...
wait, why the hell would he go there, lol

Inter arent going anywhere without a major, and I mean MAJOR turnover in the squad.

i've always thought Messi would somehow end up at Inter at some point. that'll probably be a lot more likely if pep goes there....

Re: Pep could coach Inter next season
i was against pep being our coach until now
we need a big name coach who can make their own decisions on the players they want instead of moratti and branca making our transfer decisions. pep's no transfer guru at all but he'd be an improvement i'd hope

Regardless of who the coach is.
Moratti reportedly has €50m kitty set aside for an overhaul this summer, which does not include a possible sneijder sale.
Pep or not, I just want a long term coach with clear ideas on transfers and tactics.

Chelse is in a much better position tho. They have a younger team, and much more money to invest.

why wouldnt he ? the man obviously loves Serie A and would like to prove himself there, while Inter are the only big club in italy that is looking for a new coach.
plus if Pep goes there obviously he wouldnt be expected to win anything in the first couple of seasons, though inter isnt lacking in young talent while Moratti isnt exactly short on millions as well

Inter isnt short on funds, they, much like chelsea, are just trying to stay within the FFP rules

From what i heard, this is the last summer for clubs to pump money into their clubs with limited effect from the FFP. the challenge is to spend according to the profit you make and not get out of that bubble, but this summer, they can still inject money without it showing up as expenses on their balance sheet. I heard it from Lyon's president, not sure i did a good job explaining it or if i understood right, but im sure it was something of that effect. If you see clubs going bonker this summer, then you will know why. I think that's why you are seeing PSG spending and spending because they are still fairly safe

I would be happy, just as long as our management listens to him and doesn't fire him if he loses 1 match

50 million is more than enough...
Anelka - 34 mill
Baljic - 26 mill
Flavio - 25 mill
Samuel - 25 mill
Woodgate - 20 mill
Owen - 12 mill
Baptista 20 mill
Gago - 20 mill
M. Diarra - 27 mill
Drenthe - 14 mill
Huntelaar - 20 mill
L. Diarra - 20 mill
Kaka - 67 mill
Albiol - 15 mill
That genius recruiting staff Those 300 million spent over a decade on players who left for free next season or failed miserably I wonder how would it look like over the past 2 years if you didn't get Mou...Doesn't matter tho,you made money on shirt sales

a great coach would love that opportunity to turn things around in a club like inter ... there is no point in moving to man city if you wish to be a legend like mourinho while at inter

Re: Pep could coach Inter next season
Ultimate respect to Pep if he takes a job at Inter, overhauls the squad, re-strategises, creates a new formation and implements a new style.
The Inter job at present is not child's play.. It needs someone enigmatic and intelligent.
There are about 5 players in that squad that could become relevant counterparts to a new era, the others are either too old, or have been signed purely to plug holes.
The reward for turning this Inter around would result in legendary status at the club.. surpassing Mourinho who many Inter fans felt that he came in with an idea, used them to secure a greater reputation and left them in emotional turmoil.
