Who should Coach Inter Next Season
who should coach Inter next season
I have always been a supporter of Stramma but Inter should not be losing at home to Bologna, no excuses. Obviously this experiment isnt working and we need a more experienced coach. SO who should it be?

Using Cassano as a CF/alone SS or whatever u wanna call it against Tottenham was very poor, and only excuse would be if Rocchi is injured. Is he? If not, Strama has done some weird stuff, even though the circumstances are grim.

Re: who should coach Inter next season
for sure we need a coach change next season, even if we qualify to CL (although i doubt it) and we dont deserve it, milan are a better team in CL. the only reason we are still in competition for 3rd place is that the other teams are all facing problems. we should hire an experienced coach with a winning mentality. mourinho wont come in these situations, and i dnt want shaky coaches like mihailovic, mancini, and allegri, even montella is not up to it i think. i would only go for simeon, spaletti or someone in that level

Re: who should coach Inter next season
I voted other. Its hard to find any positive reasons why any or most of those managers should leave jobs where they are established and settled for a risk of coaching Inter and getting sacked.

Football needed Stramma to succeed. We need guys who didn't play much but coached their way to the top through the youth systems of their country's football set ups and succeeded.Copa Italia might buy him more time. Its become the biggest 2 games of his life,if he's still in charge by then

pfft who cares about coaches. branca and the club need to pull their head in and sign the right guys or no matter who is coach no results will come. 100 percent fact cannot have a valid argument against this statement.

Re: who should coach Inter next season
given their current problematic run of results, questions are starting to be asked about the futures of technical director Marco Branca and boss Andrea Stramaccioni.
“Branca said that he and Stramaccioni will remain next season? In truth, he said that the President makes decisions and he is right,” Moratti noted.
“I evaluate things on a daily basis,” he continued. “In my view, if results change then everything can stay as it is.”
looks like we're getting a new director as well. About time..

Re: who should coach Inter next season
there's talk of baresi and figo taking over. i like that idea... kind of. these are guys who are very involved with the squad, and because of that it's hard to see them not choosing our worst players like deki and chivu. so i might prefer another manager but i don't know much about any of the candidates. i certainly want stramma gone though. also stramma being booted out depends on if we have more "collapses". and i fear just one collapse will mean we're out of CL for sure

Mou wont come
Simeone wont come
Spaletti wont come
Not big on the rest of them..might as well stick with strama

Love Shaktar as a team, don't know much about the manager specifically
If he was the one bringing the likes of Fernandinho then that's a good sign

It's not really common knowledge but Mircea Lucescu used to coach Inter back in the day. Needless to say he was sacked after 4 matches. To be honest his run in Serie A wasnt so impressive but that was almost 15 years ago, he has done very well elsewhere so i would prefer him to many of the coaches i listed above.

Re: who should coach Inter next season
Someone from the inside must take over,Baresi would be my choice. Why?Because every manager we hire feels the pressure for immediate result so instead of playing our youngsters who maybe are a small level below some average older player we leave them on the bench even though with a couple of games in their feet they would surpass the level of the average player.
So come seasons end,we end up with older players who are still as average as before and youngsters who are still a little below them and start the same cycle over and over again.
Baresi is someone who isn't going to the street after he gets sacked,he just moves back to the coaching staff which will relieve him of some pressure other coaches would have. That way he can develop the team and hopefully end up with a decent squad for next year for another high profile coach,or if he does well, himself.
Another part is how our player are blatantly misused by coaches year after year,he is someone who is more familiar with them and maybe wouldn't make those mistakes. He was also Mourinho's right hand man so you could say he knows the formula to success.
Baresi is our man IMO...Won't happen though.

Re: who should coach Inter next season
I like that idea Vibe...Always loved Baresi, the reason I never mentioned him is he is the rock of our coaching staff- if he became manager and sucked, if we sacked him what would happen? We cant risk losing him
But maybe youre right and he is a special circumstance, someone who could stay with the club even if he was sacked as manager

Mazzari will always be a second rate manager, he just doesnt have it in him. I see him as a modern version of Renieri

Agreed wasn't Napoli's record against the top 6 last year like 2-2-8 or something insane like that?
I definitely remember an Opta Tweet about how shit Napoli were against everyone above them

Re: who should coach Inter next season
the Laurent Blanc talk has quickly quietened down ... but unless it's a champion-level run of results to the end of the season, I don't know if the topic is closed ...
given how Blanc is on the shortlist coz he's a former Interista , and given how well Roura is handling Barcelona, I was going to suggest another "former Interista" for the hotseat shortlist:

i was impressed by the way blanc ran the national team, until some idiots ruined everything in the dressing rooms. i think he is a good candidate, better than mazzari and others. lets see the results from nw till the end of the season for nw
