This proves nothing. You came into our section and said Marcelo and Coentrao are better than Abi. That is a joke, Marcelo is not a real LB in my opinion as he sucks defensively, and Coentrao has still to prove himself to be compared to Abi.

And the pols here have no meaning at all, as we all know the ratio of RM fans to Barca fans in this forum.

And i still say, for the moment, for Barca Abi is the best LB in the world. And as i cannot say about the rest he sure is better than Marcelo or Coentrao for any team.

I don't understand why Marcelo is so underrated. This guy improved so much defensively in the last 2 years and he wasn't owned in clasico like "Abi" was.

yeah coentrao is better, maybe im biazed cause he is one of my favorite players but thats why he is cause he is balanced. great defensivly great offensivly.

coentrao > all LBs

but abidal is good tho.. ive seen most of barca's games this season.

no need of biazed opinions ( including mine as well ) Ozil is the answer.. once they faced eachother Abi became None.

a quality winger > abidal any day

but i can agree that against middle/small teams/enemies he is usefull and consistent.

How many times has özil played against barc/abidala and how many times has he been sh#t in them, nuff said.

Yes but you didn't specificate that you were only talking of conetrao as a LB, I thought that you were speaking of his defending skills in general..

Here's the thing. Abidal rapes any winger who tries to use speed and runs at him.
Tricky skillful players, well abidal is the one that gets raped. He's not that bad offensively, has a great touch.

As a purely defensive leftback, hes the second best only after Chiellini who has been played at leftback recently.

Overall though, Coentrao, Lahm, Chiellini, Marcelo, Evra, and Cole are all better than him. Havent followed him recently, but if Clichy is still on the same level as he was at Arsenal, then hes better too.
