His negotiations with Barca are really dragging, and there are chances than he may not renew his contract with barca. He just rejected a new proposal today.

Barca is already scouting the likes of Jordi Alba to take over from him.

Mistake by Barca. Abidal and Lahm are the two best LBs in the world by a mile... he's showing no signs of slowing down either. Even if he slows slightly, he could easily move to CB.

If you are talking about just defensive contributions then Arbeloa is better than Dani Alves.. lol

If you're going to state that Cashley is better than Abidal then you have to back that up with which traits you consider him to be better on, because Abidal is one of the most defensively solid LBs in the world.
