2. Suarez serves his 7th game of his 8 match ban.
3 Spearing is a doubt.

okay......seems like even if we go through there is along way to go in FA Cup. If im not mistaking City are the only big team out so far. Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Newcastle still in, not mention Fulham, Everton, Villa, Stoke and Sunderland. There is a long way to go if we're lucky to go rhough.

I think Liverpool will win comfortably. I've got a fiver on 2-0 at the bookies...

Should be a tight game. A win would make this the most perfect week in a long long time.

Agreed . . . . a week when we conquered the City of Manchester in Anfield . . . . but then again there is the 'IF' !

Can't see Bellamy starting a third match in less than 10 days; I have a feeling Carroll will come in for him. Also, I don't believe Gerrard will play the holding role.

Other than that, I think that OPs line up is probably what we'll see.



Spearing is included in the pre-match training pictures so there's hope that he'll be fit to play, as well.

Given the truly disciplined performance we put in at the midweek, I'm confident that we can come away with a win. Man City are far more dangerous going forward. If we can get Spearing back at CDM, we will hopefully be able to control the midfield and guard against Man Utd's counter. With injuries to Ferdinand, Nani and (potentially) Rooney, United could struggle to maintain their recent good form. My big concern is whether or not our attack can get the job done. Bellamy is the only in-form striker we have at the moment, and this would be his third game in seven days. Multiple games within a week takes its toll on his knees. I would be surprised to see him start on Saturday. I think it's far more likely that we see Carroll or Kuyt up top. I expet to see this lineup:

After a long week of work it's going to be frustrating waking up so early on a Saturday.

I caught most of the City game in highlights.

Don't think Bellers will start. Think Maxi might get the nod for this one. Hopefully Spearing is back. If not might have to stick with Adam.

Hope we win this one.

The game will be won in the midfield yes, But our Fullbacks will have to be very sharp today. United don't cross from the byline, They usually attack the full back and cross from inside the box or pull back the crosses for poachers like Welbeck and Hernandez. The play a very clever type of football.
Glen and Enrique will be have to be sharp.

I really hope Bellamy plays. I don't want Carroll to play today.

Btw Rooney is on bench, Ferdinand comes back.
