this is the game that Liverpool have to take by the scruff of the neck and end this Drought of Victories at Anfield. its actually saddening to watch Liverpool nowadays, not because we are playing shite, its because we are playing Decent (in most games) and not getting the results. the injury setbacks of 2 of our best players, our top striker in the news for all the wrong reasons aren't helping either. we seriously need to consider at least a new midfielder (possibly 2) and another front man.

if we don't take max points this weekend, we have to look realistically and we might not even make Europa spot again...

Our finishing sucked all along this season. We have the lowest goal/game ratio among top-7 teams.

We had the second lowest goal/game before this game infront of Wigan.

Disagree. We have more possession and shots until last 20 minutes...but considering opposition and the fact that we were home, I thought we were better on monday. My eyes popped out when Maxi missed 2 1 vs 1s though..still excellent understanding between him and Luis

Yeah, Maxi had a dissapointing day infront of goal, but he was good today.

Maxi and Suarez did well going forward. Caught the defence out a lot with some good play, we just need to take our oppurtunities.

I thought we played very well at times especially in the first half. Our short intricate passing was coming together nicely but the same old problem of not converting chance was again evident.

I was very nervous during the later stages of the match as it was following the annoying script of us not putting the game away at it coming back to haunt us.

I was a mighty relieved man when the final whistle went. Hopefully we can forget about the fiasco against Fulham and us this to kick on and go on a winning run till the new year.
