They have barely been getting results in the EPL since the City game and with being knocked out of the CL they are going to struggle. I expect Fergie to open the cheque book for someone in January.

Hes 31, who knows if he'll come back the same, but hes going no where so no need to worry bout that.

As to replacment for the time being, Jones and Smalling def have what it takes, any one of those with RIO seems capable of a WC defense. Its just evans im worried about, its always johnny ******* evans.

Just what we needed right now :facepalm:

We're gonna have to rely on 2 youngsters- Jones & Smalling + Ferdinand who is susceptible to injuries himself, to carry our defence for the entire season. Evra has improved his form, but he is prone to being too gung ho and forgetting that he nees to defend too and Jonny Evans is a huge liabilty.

Vidic is the only reason our defence looked solid since the City game. fcng gutted he is out for the season .

I think they have a run of games that should be winnable even with their injury problems.

Shouldn't drop to many points and they can easy invest in a player or 2 come January.

Depending how serious they take the europa they could pick up a few more injuries and the extra games will take their toll.
