ok... Balotelli is only 21 and is a striker and has already accomplished more than marchisio (not to discredit him) so hush and don't bring in an unnecessary argument.

Marchisio needs to keep up with his form to be worthy of a comparison with the likes of iniesta, but things are looking good so far.

It's really incredible to see some Bianconeris reap the fruit of their hard work. Right now Marchisio has scored 4-5 game winners and if he leads us to our first Scudetto, in God knows how many years, then he will indeed be comparable to Lampard, Fabregas & Gerrard. While I don't believe he is up there with Xavi, Iniesta & Messi, he certainly still is becoming the heart & soul of Juve, truly our very own 'little Prince'

U must be blind or stubborn to not realize or acknowledge that he is indeed world class
I sure wouldnt change him with anybody not even Messi he is definetly our gerrard and will be for many years 2 come

only reason he has shown little before was he was played out of position on average teams with average coaches, first time he gets a sound environment he shines and show his true value, this alone should be enough proof he is world class it definetly is no fluke.

You're right! I wouldnt trade him for anyone else. That doesnt instantly make him the best in the world in his position. You can't go assuming Marchisio is going to continue to score 1 goal every 2 games because he is in the best form of his life.

He is definitely on the right path, but it is obviously ignorant to say he is better than Xavi, Iniesta, Fabregas, or just about any of the others I named earlier.

Why start compairing all world class players 2 each other when there is no point.

But please start 2 acknowledge he is a born midfielder just like Trezegol was a born goalscorer, Marchisio just happens 2 have spend his entire youth career playing as a striker hence combining his natural midfield talents with a nose for goals... World class

Marchisio is one of my favorite players, you dont need to tell me what he has done or gone through or his value to us.

I think the problem here is people have different meanings of "World Class." You guys seems to be using it as "really good and one of the best players in the league right now"

Yeah, I agree. World Class means you would make it onto a 23-man world team. In that aspect, I do not think Marchisio is World Class.

The Marchisio we now know is world class. Take away the goals and he has had fantastic link up play with other players namely Matri and Vucinic. He has chased the opposition down and with Vidal dominated the midfield battle for possesion. He also has improved his skill.

I agree with the OP. He is world class and long may he continue playing this well.

In a way, Conte is to thank for sticking with Marchisio whilst he was being targeted as a bit of a flop (unfairly). His 4-3-3 gives Marchisio the ability to do so much for the team.
