Marchisio is that type of player who I like to refer to as the modern midfielder. A dynamic player who can play in many roles, even as a winger. In comparison to Vidal, but Marchisio better in a sense.

I agree with the concept of a modern midfielder but they are and not always compatible with every system of play.

I would still prefer the "conventional/traditional" midfield roles if I had to choose between the two styles of midfielders but I think the best is having a combination of playing styles in midfield.

A traditional deep lying playmaker with 2 'dynamic' midfielders in a 3 man midfield works. The problem is, I dont see another 'Andre Pirlo' on the radar. Bastian Sweinsteiger is the next best thing that I can think of off the top of my head but what are the chances of him leaving Bayern??

What happens when AP starts slowing down...a pure Regista is worth his weight in gold. Marrota's made up for a lot of shit transfer with the capture of Pirlo.

I will disagree that Marchisio is more 'dynamic' than Vidal. Technically Vidal lags behind Marchisio, but his drive on the field and versatility far outweighs Marchisio. From what Ive seen so far (and I didn not follow Vidal closely at B.L), if i had to pick one of them to leave out of the starting line up knowing that the formation will change during the game, it would have to be Marchisio (despite his golden form right now).

When you don't agree on a matter thats fine. You will never have everyone agree on a topic. It just doesn't work that way. What MUST change is the insults thrown when people do not agree. CSS needs to learn to RESPECT what others think. This does not mean he has a right to indirectly call those that do not agree dumb. He does this on a daily basis. If you don't agree on a matter that is fine. There are time's some (myself included) agree with CSS and other times they do not. This does not give him a right to call members "clueless" the times they do not agree. That's a matter or respect. That is really all that is asked for. Is that really so much to ask?

What boggles my mind is the majority of the "debates" here are almost completely opinion based in which there is no guaranteed right or wrong person. To call someone clueless or any other degrading remark because they don't see level with you on these matters is unbelievable. We are Juve fans. We should treat our own better then that.
