Anyway - Back on topic: Marchisio having POTENTIAL to be world class..
I would be interested to see how he would function in a 3-man midfield with people the likes of say, Melo and Aquilani (last season)...I suspect he would struggle as he neither has someone making plays (Pirlo) nor running like a rabid pitbull (Vidal) to allow him to focus his energy..
In either case, you would think that if someone is truly WC, then his talent would be well known around the world in a short period of time (e.g. Xavi, Messi, Ronaldo, Pirlo Beckham in his hay-day)... yet some of the lads down at the pub havent heard of Marchisio.. and theyre heavy european football fanatics!

Re: Marchisio is World Class
I know this has been mentioned previously in this thread, but to label a fairly inconsistent player "world class" after a few months of form really robs the actual "world class "players out there, and only serves to water down the definition itself.
I have also had a habit of lurking this forum, and I've read a lot of stuff in this section in particular. As for the OP, there are two main issues that should be raised. Primarily, Marchisio has always been a favourite of mine, but sadly he has not shown the consistency or form to qualify for a "world class" label. Surely he is showcasing form that if it persists for both this season and the next, this claim may be justified. There are currently many players in his position that are better because they have won trophies and shown steady form.
The second issue needs to be raised with the OP himself. As I mentioned previously, I have lurked this section a lot recently. I have much respect for Camurria (or Sciacca) and generally agree with his posts, and he is a knowledgeable poster for sure. My question lies in the fact that he is not open to any other opinions. Why post your opinion, but call others "bacala" or reject any claims they have made? Why the hate?

I already explained this, theres many reasons for it. In the past, there was so much hate and doubt on Marchisio, from Juventini themselves, from those who had know clue in who he was. From Vidal, to Surag, and so on. Myself who debated so much about Marchisio in the past is finally proving those who denied him. The I don't care arrogance is the way to go now with this issue.

Im sure everyone knew who Marchisio was. He was average/good but not great.
This season, he has blossomed. Great without being WC.
Only difference is that you were beating off to him before when he was average player while everyone else was probably waiting to see how he developed.

Sciacca I feel as though you've been waiting a long time to post this about marchisio, and finally after a string of decent performances you have hastily posted about him being world class. While I do not agree I admire your passion and backing of him when many (including I) wrote him off. I also feel that its not so much your opinion that strikes a cord with many in this section, however your attitude of "I dont care what you think" really is not conducive to a healthy debate.

Actually no. You had guys like Surag who was a Juventino and in fact HATED Marchisio, a disgrace of a fan I'll tell you that, he's gone now.
People already gave up bro, and now they come praising him like no tomorow. But anyways, again I'm repeating myself, won't mention this anymore. Not cuz of you, but I mean in general.

Marchisio is not an AM. He's a pure CM, or CDM, who is in fact managing to even score goals now.
Vidal on the other hand is an AM, or was an AM back with Bayer Lev

i assumed marchisio is a am based on the fact he has flair, makes forward runs, shoots and attacks? lol i thought vidal is more of a dm because he makes the tackles and looks to distribute the ball

I don't care, that's how it is. You don't like me fine, you think I'm arrogant, good for you. For the most part, that is what makes arrogant dosen't it? Sadly, I don't care.
Get over being Jealous about the other forum. I dont know why you keep bringing it up, maybe you feel guilty for being the cancer that made half the forum ditch. I talk to everyone on the other board daily, I dont know why you keep calling it inactive.
I am not here to troll like you low life. My intentions are to post about Juve, and my second intention is to prevent people from thinking all Juventus fans/italians are as stupid and arrogant as you are.
Give me an example of how I troll. You are the condescending assh*le of the forums. dont forget that.

All though it may seem that way, Marchisio's tactical role still remains to be a DM to cover for Pirlo, you see the brilliant thing about Marchisio is, he's capable of doing both and is doing amazing at that. But even without Vidal and Pirlo, he's stil able to achieve what he's known for doing this season.

lol? I think you should stop getting over me, that's all you do now. I might think your jealous ahaha. Oh, are you sure about that? Speaking to Aldo, he claims that it takes 4-5 days for him to even get a response there, so I would beg to differ. Speaking to them? Well good for you, but if you didn't notice, I still talk to a majority with them off these forums. If I was the cause, yet they speak to me, could be odd with that theory. And yet your here? Hmm. You must really love this place, or you must love me as you seem to be so attached with what Sciacca says and does Fabri.
Fabri! Giuse! Sei un Mito! Both of you are Myths!
Uff, the insults? What happend to being a nice boy? "Condescending Assh*ole?", "Low Life", "stupid". Here to post about Juventus, and yet half your posts are arguments with me, and yet you trying to show that not all Juventus fans are not like me. Hmm, interesting. Let me get back on you with that, because for some reason, if you didn't read the other topic, I was considered the most valued poster. Some even went against you antics, some who use to be your friend on OL or here. I won't mention names. But keep it up bro, like I said what you do is humourous and sadly its funny now that you're taking this very personal LOL.
An example of how you troll? Why did Luca block you in the first place?

Boom. Ouch. Settle down mate. Its just a forum. No need to get worked up.
Lewey: I agree with CSS - Marchisio is a pure CM. not an AM although given the midfield he now plays in, he has the freedom to behave like an AM if she should so choose and the situation warrants. Again, with Pirlo and Vidal next to him, he has the freedom to make those attacking runs and it is with this freedom that his true colours are being allowed to flourish. He doesnt have the pressure of being the playmaker (Pirlo) or the playbreaker (Vidal). He has the license to go out and just play. This season - he looks like a player who has had a huge weight lifted off his shoulders now that hes played in the right position and given freedom to express himself.
As for Vidal - he is an AM, CM, DM, LW, RW, ST, SST, CB, LB, RB....
I tell you - there is not one part of the pitch this guy doesnt venture into (except goal) - he is truly a wonder. He might not be the most technically gifted player on the pitch, but he will leave his heart and soul on the field... he is the heart of the current Juve midfield. You cannot but admire his effort.

Im assuming you mean Marchisio here - Not sure about that.. but then again, he has the talent to, but I think hes best as a pure CM. He reminds me a lot of Conte to be honest, seeing him play. I dont think playing TQ would display his full range of skills though.
And if youre talking about Vidal - that man can almost play any position! But again, I think his main skill (playbreaking) would be wasted as a TQ.

For being a pure CM, I completely agree, but what I mean is, seeing this guy is getting and developing into an AM, he can be broughtout as a trequartista for the national team. I can't bare to see Montolivo in that role anymore, and we all know Giovinco won't be utulized there. But for now, I agree CM is the best thing for him.
