Your right its a conspiracy, Perez with his millions buying all the refs .jiopsi wrote:No I'm not surprised, I've said it all season along. I hope now everybody finally can see scandal. It's not really a scandal anymore, it's conspiracy.billionmillion wrote:so why you are surprised. a president who spends 500 million for players could not spend a little amount for referees?
But what can you a butthurt fan do about it?

Yeah just like Barca earns third of the highest revenue of the clubs but still has debts.
I wonder where all these money goes (*hint*red cards to madrid*hint*)

Re: Penalty controversy in Spain - part 1
Guys, please don't fall to these standards. There is no conspiracy going on in La Liga and we lost today fair and square, this is what Madrid's coach and fans do when they lose, it's beneath us. It's obvious that certain players on our team have pushed the envelope too far with the diving and refs are afraid to give us penalties because they have been burned in the past and roasted in the media. IT's human nature. Busquets in particular, Pep needs to sit him down and tell him to cut it out or he doesn't play. IT's really just disgusting now with that guy.
I do find it funny that the same Madrid fans making fun of people claiming conspiracy against Barca are the same ones who say "refcelona" and support a coach who said there was a La Liga conspiracy and a UEFA conspiracy to help BArca win trophies. And they never call him insane or "butthurt" in fact they fall over in love with every word out of his mouth.

Because it's easier to just say "Madrid fans" than to actually call names. To actually remember who wrote what, when and where are painstaking tasks that hardly anyone is willing to do, far less for Run DMC over here. Alas, I enjoyed reading all these threads and seeing my side 6 points ahead. Gotta enjoy the simple things in life...

I hear you. When you compete with Barca you got to take the good days when you can get it. 6 points up and no trophy in the case, party like it's 1999. It's hilarious what the institution of Madrid has fallen to, act like you've been there before. I remember when 6 points up 1/3 of the way through the season was expected for Madrid not celebrated.

Now, this is where silly arguments start. I never said I'm partying nor did I imply it. My entire post was about the problem with generalisation of a certain sect of fans and just happen to mention enjoying seeing my side 6 pretty points on top. You being your wonderful self, decided to make it into a whole different issue. Why? I don't know, maybe it's your way of dealing with defeat.

Re: Penalty controversy in Spain - part 1
madrid attacks are often more fast paced counter attacks than barcas possession football, therefore more chances for penalties to be given. and when real madrid are playing possession it's usually in or around the penalty box, not xavi passing to puyol just behind the halfway line
also if there's one thing i've come to believe has little meaning it's a barca fan claiming a certain instance was a penalty. usually it's not
there's teams in serie a who have been awarded a lot more penalties than us (inter). doesn't mean the refs are against us

You should just look at those reference threads. Barca should have had more penalties this season in all fairness, not the other way around.andiii wrote: madrid attacks are often more fast paced counter attacks than barcas possession football, therefore more chances for penalties to be given. and when real madrid are playing possession it's usually in or around the penalty box, not xavi passing to puyol just behind the halfway line

I'm not sure I understand what I was defeated at? I would say 95% of your fans on this site have either said Refcelona at one point or stood behind your coach when he said 1) Manuel Preciado was involved in a conspiracy to help Barca win La Liga, 2) UEFA is involved in a conspiracy to help Barca win the Champions League and beat Madrid. 3) None of Pep's Champions Leagues are legit and he only won them through cheating and help from refs/UEFA.
I must have been sick or something when all the posts condemning Mou for saying any of the above were all over this board because like you and Izzy claim we can't generalize because MAdrid fans are angels and if one person didn't say something then that means no one said it, or we should have to go digging through 100's of pages of threads to "show you" quotes when everyone on here knows Refcelona is thrown around on this board more then any other slang for any other team.
I mean YOUR COACH was suspended for making cheating accusations with out any evedince.

dnmac, do like to argue and go off-topic? This part of your post is all that matters.
If I were to say 'Barca fans are blind, ignorant, spoiled fools' that means i'm insulting an entire fanbase, which includes JD, Barcakizz, Alex, an so on.
Instead of generalising, name the posters who you have a problem with.

Sigh, you really are going off on a tandem here. Once again, I never said anything about Real Madrid fans being angels or conspiracy theories or Mourinho or whatever you are currently writing about. Literally, the only thing I mentioned is the problem with generalization of a certain sect of fans and enjoying seeing my side sitting pretty on top. Hell, I never even wrote anyone can't generalize Real Madrid fans. Just wrote it's easier to generalise as no one can hardly be damned to look for every post. Seriously, this is why you're on 25%, you get into some of the most asinine arguments because you read something that isn't there and make a big deal out of it.
