I am not spoiling anything. Those quotes are from the 9th episode, which I assume everybody must have watched it.

Re: Game of Thrones
Who thinks that this season will end with the beginning of Winter? Or maybe it will end with the Stark war?
I am already dying for the next episode, I dunno how I am gonna wait for the next season
Might have to pick up the books.

Not really a spoiler or anything but the 6th book(which isnt out yet) is called "Winds of Winter".
Winter begins at the end of book 5.

The books are frakking awesome. I'm at an end of A Storm of Swords and there are so many game-changers in this book alone. Some serious shit has gone down here.
I highly recommend it, Fab. Already got a co-worker starting from the beginning

Re: Game of Thrones
I'm not sure if I read it somewhere on here or another forum, but a few weeks ago I read someone post something along the lines of
I was so upset at myself when I read it because I knew that there would be a spoiler if I kept reading the post, but I did it anyway. Well, I tried to hold off on figuring out all the details, but today I decided if I already ruined it for myself anyway, I might as well get exact details. I really wish I had not gotten exact details

I've read all the books. The fifth one is terribly boring, but I really can't wait for the sixth, whenever it does come out.

Well he goes at about a book every 4 year pace or something right?
I just hope he finishes the series before he croaks

You guys who have yet to read the books, be warned, you are starting at a late stage, you might not have the same attachment with certain character as in the show... I know Bhends will know what I'm talking about... RW

Yes. Hopefully the TV show will compel him to write faster. One chapter of the sixth book is free to read on his website, and in that

Cersei of course. Lena Headey is quite a beautiful woman. She looked absolutely mesmerizing in 300. Not so much as Sarah Conner though.

Re: Game of Thrones
Yeah HBO ok'd an extra 10 minutes to try and encapsulate every story arc and build for the next season. I hope they use it wisely.

Re: Game of Thrones
- Spoiler:
- Nice wrap up to the end of a very good season.
I didn't like the Stannis/Melisandre scene though. Him choking her out, while sensible on TV, cheapened the whole arc in this episode.
Theon's last stand was brilliantly done I thought. His speech was good as well and I seriously lol'd when they knocked him out after it and said "Let's go home". Good send off for Maester Luwin as well. Good scene between him, Bran and Rickon.
If you didn't read the book, then you'll probably think Jon's betraying his vows to the Night's Watch so that's going to be a bit confusing until the next season clears it up.
Loved how Sansa had that one moment of true happiness only for it to be snatched away by Littlefinger just as quickly. The whole Joffrey/Tyrell arc was quite well done. For once, Joffrey actually looked and acted like a king instead of a petulant douche, though it was all a facade anyway.
The fall of Tyrion was done ok. I think they scarred his face up adequately enough because he looked gruesome in the book. Felt odd to see him crying though after some of the shit he's said and done.
If you haven't read ahead then all I'll say is that Robb marrying this chick will have some far reaching consequences.
Jaqen Hagar's departure was probably the best done of all the scene's imo. Really makes me want to know more about Faceless Men. Guy just never seems not to surprise.
The plight of Bran and Rickon looks set to continue to be rather boring. Really wish they had added Meera and Jojen Reed instead of Osha and once again, the direwolves get slighted as well. Indifferent to this arc.
Dany's stint in the House of the Undying was.....slightly underwelming. Could've lasted a bit longer, but the scene with Drogo was tantalizingly touching. Very well done though the dragons barbequeing Pyat Pree was kinda gimmicky.
Then there's the White Walkers/Others. I suppose you can call them zombies since in order to become one of them, you have to be killed by one of them. Sam better have pissed himself when he saw that wight on the horse, that dude looked frakking awesome.
Overall, 3rd season is going to be an absolute game-changer for all 5 kings as this episode has kicked some serious shit into gear. Coincides as well since A Storm of Swords is easily the best book in the series based on what I've read so far.
