It's a little flaw in his game at defending crosses in open play IMO.

Sits and waits for the cross to come in instead of pursuing the ball/covering the striker.

Also he should be covering the post and not leave any space in front of him.

Minor flaw but he needs to fix it cuz messi always makes those late jinking diagonal runs off crosses....................

It hit the chest. Looks like Valencia didn't get robbed.

When we look at it on this video it is a handball but on a front is appears as if the ball went pass his hand and rebounds on his chest.
Maybe an optical illusion but it is highly difficult to judge.

I don't think Marcelo is to blame for the second goal, just watched the replay, he let Pablo run to the ball, but he was not in a position to catch up with him anyway, Ramos though was right besides Soldado but allowed him to shoot.

Crazy match but it was needed to keep our feet on the ground and take one match at a time, the match against Barcelona is just three points and judging from our last six clasicos in which we've lost twice and won once, with three draws, the next clasico is bound to be a close affair, especially if Messi plays.

Don't know what's the big deal about Sami going foward he has done that in the past.

Sami playing higher up is what made Violencia's play so ineffective in the first half. His proactive pressing was great to watch. Only down side is that he isn't technically gifted enough to create as many chances in that position as Ozil can. Khedira played well IMO.

Anyway a nice stat for Ronaldo's goal. We won six 50:50 balls from our goal to Valencia's goal and scored on the counter. A successful counter done by successfully winning loose balls instead of traditional passing.
