Why couldn't we just play 4-2-3-1 with Callejon taking Di Maria's spot? Or Higuain taking Di Maria's spot?

Soldado. Great player, shame he was acting abit like a *bleep* like the rest of Valencia players.

Marcelo did not look like his usual self but considiring he hasnt played in a while and was just injured I can look past it.

Ozil was OK 1st half, Khedira wont work in a 4-3-3, his efficiency is shit.

We would've lost has we played a 4-2-3-1 methinks. Marcelo was meh and we needed defensive cover. Without Coentrao, we needed to play him all game and he definitely was rusty.

ozil is being played out of position.cant blame him for not having a great performance but then not sure anyone done great. Marcelo had a bad day, albiol started off shaky but got better as the game went on and pepe started doing his customary slipping as the game progressed and got more intense.

lass was solid as was khedira who presented himself well in attack and xabi alonso was his usual self though he was being pressured hard. ronaldo and benzema had their typical game as did higuain who was unlucky to come on when valencia were finally tuning in.

i think the motm should go to ramos.

Our Midfield sank in the second half and sub off Arbeloa was the lowest of the low that can happens.

I'm not at all a fan of the 4-3-3, we don't have the players for that formation, Khedira, Lass and Alonso, is too rigid for my liking. Without out and out wingers or overlapping fullbacks the formation is bound to fail. Not the best Madrid has displayed this season, but I'll take the three points anyday..

I think Arbeloa carried that knock he picked on international duty into the match but I'd have preferred Lass at RB or Varane at CB to Abiol, he was just shocking tonight, Aside Ozil and Khedira, he was the worst Madrid player on the field.

i know but if we dont completely dominate almost everyone goes into panic and start pointing fingers, like other teams doesn't have a right to outclass us, any team can be outclassed or have a dip in form or be tired, it not a crime, also soldado is still butthurt for not playing for us so its a given he is acting this way

Benz was MOTM for me. Every time he touched the ball, it looked like something was going to happen. Ramos, Pepe and Arbeloa, Iker were solid. Everyone else pretty much tanked.

Gotta love Mou at jumping Callejons back..Anyway, shitty performance from us, inconsistent and were overrun in midfield. But there also some cons like Lass being a GOAT and we getting our well deserved 3 pts.
