- Forward? Neymar, Bojan or NOBODY! We just need MVP (Messi-Villa-Pedro) 2011 back and fit!
- RB: Montoya.
- LW: Tello.
- GK: Oier or maybe Andrada!
- Loan: Fontas, Bartra and maybe Cuenca.
- Sell: Kieta, Afellay.


Note: Buying Neymar in 2012, 2013 or 2014, depends how fit Villa will be after his injury..

I stopped reading after Bojan.

Marca TV states we already secretely came to an agreement with Bale and we'll soon make an openingbid of EUR 40 mil.

I don't even get why this guy is even an option for Tito and Rosell, he doesn't suit our style of play, he's extremely expensive and he's not going to bring anything to the table defensively even though that clearly is something we need right now. I really hope this is yet another BS story from Marca as this could otherwise well be the fail signing of the next season.

Bale is a good option if we plan to sell Alves. Otherwise, makes no sense.

Tell you what, he would be Mourinho's dream signing. But I agree Bale would not fit Barça's current style of play.

Barcelona interested in Boca forward Sergio Araujo.

As a Boca fan I would love to shove him down Barcelona.

Bale for 40 mil would be the second worst transfer in history behind ofcourse Eto'o plus 45 mil for Ibra.

Araujo is crap tbh. If we're gonna go for a young Argentine striker I think we could go for Facundo Ferreyra. He reminds me of Higuain for some reason.

I also think that if we can get Tagliafico for cheap that we should go for him.

Why hasn't Brazil produced a good wingback for years? They used to have a couple of world class ones coming up from the youth ranks every few years.

Maicon and Alves are 30 and 29 respectively. Far from a 'recent' product.

In all honesty they haven't produced any spectacular players in recent years at all. Their only superstar since the Kaká-Ronaldinho era has been Neymar, who is yet to be tested in European football. I have to say though he has been too much for Libertadores teams to handle in the last couple of years.

I would disagree, but one could argue that he is not even the best LB in Real Madrid

and in the end mourinho must have died of regret because coentrao cost real a cl final while marcelo put a motm performance at the bernabeu

No, have not heard anything. Give it a couple years, he is yet to win his starting place for Porto yet at his young age.

Bale would be a huge gamble and he could definitely be a terrible transfer as you say. Buying a LW to play LB is a gamble and could go wrong. With Alves in the team, it makes completely no sense. But if we are really selling Alves (which I don't support), Bale could be a risky but good option. 40 million is too much, but if we can get a similar amount for Alves...

The guy is fast, TALL, heads well, strong, technical, can drible and cross... the only real question mark is if he could defend well enough and have a good stamina to go up and down all match long, but I've read that he has a lot of endurance.

I don't think most would disagree that he is a fantastic player. Fast, strong, heads ok and works hard. But he is not fit for tiki-taka. His touch is not good, his short passing is not up to Barcelona standards and while he is a good dribbler, he needs space to show his technical ability. It is not in his blood to play the patient passing game of Barcelona when opponents have 10 players behind the ball in tight spaces. He is very direct and would fit absolutely well in a team that relies on quick counter-attacks but not for Barcelona. Unless Barcelona are going to change a thing or two next year about the way they play.

Oh, and he is ridiculously expensive. Why sell Alves?

Bale's touch is more than good enough for a Barça full back and while he is better with space, he can work in tight spaces, I've seen him do that when playing on the right specially. Oh, and I forgot about Bales good long shot, that could also help.

Also, a full back playing for our team has plenty of space as Alves has shown over the seasons.

Btw, just read that Chori Castro's from Mallorca contract expires. I always thought he is underated and for free, I would definitely get him.

What you think of him? Sign him, give him Cuenca's role, (loan Cuenca or send him back to the B team). Maybe he excels and we have a new crack, if he is only good, we sell him and make profit.

I tend to agree with Free with one condition. I think he would be great for us if we could teach him how to defend. Currently, however, he can't, so it'd be a massive gamble buying a fullback who can't defend... If we could somehow get him to defend as well as Alves he'd be a revelation.

There's also the thing that he's Welsh, and he'd find it difficult settling.
