now this is getting severely frustrating . . with no news from the USUAL SUSPECTS all that can be seen is rumors regarding players i cannot find any reason for us being linked with . .

Well, it's up to the individual to deduce how pertinent a target is. Until the clubs report anything, most talks are just rumors and the likes of 'Tommo' will never reveal their sources. As such, proving the reliability of a source in those cases is very hard. Clearly this guy has gotten some things right, which is why he has the following he has. I'm still skeptical though. There is however, nothing wrong in buying into rumors. That's what the whole transfer window is about. It's also what keeps the forums active. Smile

Sid Love has mentioned that Mata to Liverpool is a genuine possibility.In a sense he meant that Liverpool is his more likelier destination in England.

Surely he wont mention it if we arent in touch with Valencia at the least.

with the farce at A.Villa, I can definitely see Downing handing in a transfer request..and Sid Lowe mentioned our name specifically about Mata Very Happy

Adam has said he only wants to join LFC, while Oyston said, I don't like LFC and don't wanna deal with them Very Happy

Not a new contract per se, but a clause has picked up in the old one based on number of games played that extends it for 12 months. Means the club might still consider him excess to requirements, and he could still be leaving this summer.
