I wonder what, if anything, this tells about Ferdinand's situation.. getting older and those injuries.. but they have Smalling.
Anyone else hoping that Jones will end up warming the bench for a couple of seasons and that will have a negative impact on his long-term form? x)

Think it says more about just how far Jonny Evans has fallen.

Jones will get appearances next season (if he joins United)... just not as many as he'd get with us. Time to look at Sakho, Hummels, Cahill, Subotic or another young CB.

many potential targets, but you can forget about Sakho tho (as much as i like him):
he will now be given PSG's captain armband given that Makelele is hanging his boots.
plus PSG has been recently taken over by a Qatari group with loads of money.
so they will most likely stengthen and he wont leave now.

well it seems Spurs go after we want to buy not the ones we want to sell . .if i am not wrong they were after Cole before we got him for free . . then again which target of ours Spurs weren't after now that i cannot remember! !
