Can England be like Spain?
It's no secret that Spain uses Barcelona ands Cruyffs philosophy and most of the starting 11 are from Barcelona. Do you reckon england could emulate that in the near future with Manchester United?

It would help teamplay tremendously. Seriously, I hope Argentina would be able to do this, but sadly every good player is scattered over Europe.

Re: Can England be like Spain?
Maybe when that one club could produce one of the greatest teams of all time like Barca not when most of those are hyped up unproven players

sure they do...with the pressing high up the field and the creating space and the lack of individualism...

Re: Can England be like Spain?
Spain is a direct product of the work Aragones put. Full stop. What was Spain before Euro 2008?
Crediting Cryuff with Spain's success is the most retarded thing i've ever heard.

Yeah,There is a big chance for a Manchester united players dominating English national team in the future.CB department is already reserved for utd players.Young could make that left wing role his own and Rooney as SS.But england can definitely have a better ball playing Right back than smalling, and wilshire could take cleverleys place as there is no guarantee cleverley will be better than him. Also Flopy carrol could start ahead of welbeck as well, hence maximum 4 players from manu. Not a big deal.

Wilshere would take Parkers spot if anything....Parker has no future with this team aside from this upcoming tournament and that is a maybe in itself

Höwedes, Badstuber, Boateng, Lahm
Khedira(Kroos), Schweinsteiger,
Müller, Özil, Podolski(Schürrle)
Gomez(Klose)
Bayern players are in red.

It's no surprise how fluid Germany is really. Most of these players play at the same club. Hopefully all the other big teams can do this (apart from Holland).

Re: Can England be like Spain?
Well, at the moment Kroos is ruled out as he suffers from the flu, so Khedira is more likely to play. Although one of the Benders could take the position, too (maybe as sub).
Well, another plus point is when Höwedes plays - he and Neuer played for years together at Schalke, so they understand each other blindly, too. And don't forget that Klose and Podolski formerly played at Bayern, too. It's no surprise how fluid Germany is really. Most of these players play at the same club. Hopefully all the other big teams can do this (apart from Holland).
