Re: Milan Junior Camp News
hahah what was the goalie doing on the 4th goal
Almost every time I check the scores of our primavera squad Ganz and Comi names are on the score sheet. I usually just watch the highlights, how do you guys rate them overall?

Youth Report: Paloschi could not find the net against Udinese, but worked hard in every other aspect, he also featured in the dying minutes against Atalanta. Beretta had a similar experience as he too struggled to score. Darmian struggled against Bari but found his footing as the game wore on. Di Gennaro had another stand-out performance as he played a role in all 3 goals for Modena away at Empoli. Donnarumma had a poor first half where he conceded twice, but made better saves as the game dragged on. Filkor worked hard for the team but couldn't help Livorno to a victory. Romagnoli helped Pescara keep a clean-sheet against Padua. Another stand-out display came from little known Andrea Schenetti, who managed to get on the score-sheet but couldn't gain his side the victory - one to watch. Zigoni had an equally good game as he scored after only 5 minutes, but went on to draw the game. Didac Vila was his sides only scorer in a 3-1 defeat to Athletico Madrid as he continues to show real continuity at the back. The rest didn't feature.

MILAN - Milan youth team midfielder, Simone Calvano, underwent knee ligament surgery yesterday at the Galeazzi hospital in Milan and will be out of action for three months if there are no complications.
There are three Rossoneri (Piscitelli, Rodrigo Ely e Valoti), in the 23 man squad picked by Italy Under-19 coach Alberigo Evani for a trial on May 10th.
The friendly match between the youth team and Novara finished 1-0 for the Rossoneri with Gianmario Comi scoring the only goal on ten minutes.

WhaAaaaaaaaaaaaaT!!
Wasn't he already out for a couple of months with the same knee problems. Terrible news i was hoping to see him during pre-season with Milan. So unlucky to get successive ligament damage so early in his career

Re: Milan Junior Camp News
I've still no idea how Innocenti's strike went in, it seemed to go straight through Sala though it wasn't a great angle to watch the goal from.
Longo's turn for the first goal was fantastic, made Baldan look ridiculous.

Re: Milan Junior Camp News
It seemed quite central and given how far the shot was taken from I thought the keeper should have done better, but he still deserves a lot of credit.

ILAN - The Lega Calcio have released the fixture list for the Primavera teams and Milan, just like last season, have been inserted into Group B.
This is how Group B looks, with 14 teams: Atalanta, Bologna, Brescia, Cesena, Chievo, Cittadella, Inter, Milan, Modena, Padova, Sassuolo, Udinese, Varese, Verona.
New rules this season mean that one player of any age can be added and up to three players born after January 1st 1993 for every single match. The season will start on August 25th, the same as the start of the Serie A Tim.

Filippo Galli on Piscitelli and Innocenti:
During the programme Studio Milan broadcast on Milan Channel, Filippo Galli spoke about Piscitelli and Innocenti. The head of the Rossoneri youth sector said, “Piscitelli should go where he can get playing time. Everyone praises Leali, who has signed for Juventus, but Piscitelli too has no reason to envy Leali. He could move to Carrarese.”
He added a quick comment on Innocenti, “It has been important he played with the Beretti, then we brought him back. He did well, he also played right full back. He displayed character and temperament, he is a precious player. He needs to find the right team now.”

MILAN – The Italy Under19 squad has been together since Saturday, under the guidance of Alberigo Evani.
Among those called up is Rossoneri midfielder Bryan Cristante, who’ll make an appearance in Wednesday’s friendly against Slovenia.

Re: Milan Junior Camp News
I've been away, so I've unfortunately not been able to update this thread very often. Here's a quick summary of the results of our recent youth team matches.
Milan 3 - 2 Varese
MILAN – The definitive goal in the final moments from Bendé Bendé set up by Petagna, his second assist of the day gave Milan victory over Varese.
The first half saw the home team start strong and on 9’ Bastone then De Feo (man of the Match) looked dangerous. On 17’ Di Molfetta hit the post from distance. The first goal came on 23’ through De Feo and the home side doubled the lead three minutes later through Di Molfetta. On 27’ Varese scored from the penalty spot and on 44’ Forte brought the two sides square.
The Rossoneri had the best of the second half as well. After many chances created thyey had tp wait until the last minute of the game when Petagna played it off for Bendé Bendé to get the winner.
STARTING LINE-UPS:
MILAN: Narduzzo, Ferretti, Speranza, Lucarini, Bortoli, Iotti, Bastone, Cristante, Petagna, De Feo, Di Molfetta.
VARESE: Di Graci, Caversasi, Azzolin, Truzzi, Dondoni, Miceli, Romano, Parini, Zamparo, Forte, Roncari.
Brescia 0 - 4 Milan
MILAN – A 4-0 win for Milan’s Primavera side this afternoon against Brescia and a powerful performance from Dolcetti’s players. A good afternoon’s work for Brazilian keeper while Petagna got a double.
The Rossoneri took the lead on 14’ with a shot from Petagna on the edge of the area. The lead was doubled a few minutes later when De Feo’s move got a deflection off Boniotti to hit the back of the net. Brescia looked dangerous from a free kick on 35’ but Gabriel did well.
In the second half, Milan found the third goal after on 4 minutes. Once again it was Petagna and the fourth goal came on 34’ from Pedone.
--------------------------------------------------
I don't have reports for these games, but we also lost 2-0 to Cesena and 3-0 to Bologna and stand in fourth place in the table, six points adrift of Inter.

Six points off top is not bad. Good to hear Petagna is doing well. Did Gabriel (GK) play in these games?
